Hello everyone… I just picked up a John Deere F525 with a few issues and that's how I came across the site. I was doing a little research prior to buying it and even though I didn’t find the answer here... I found a few threads that lead me to a solution and I would like to share for the next guy. (even if that means reviving threads that are 2-3 years old) (sorry)
I had owned (sold it yesterday) a John Deere SX75 for about 6 or 7 years and just loved it but the 30inch mowing width and the slow speed really didn't save me much time vs push mowing so it was time for something different. I will miss the bagger for sure because the F525 that I bought doesn’t have one. The bagger was invaluable the fall for picking up leaves and getting the yard ready for winter. So that is next on the list – finding a bagger for the F525. If anyone has one and lives close or in IA – let me know.
