Community Iftar – Wednesday, Sep 23rd at  ICN Ogden and Olesen

It is highly recommended to fast on the day of Arafah and therefore, a community iftar dinner has been arranged at both the ICN Ogden and ICN Olesen masajid to encourage the community to fast on this blessed day of Arafat on Wednesday, September 23rd.

Abu Hafsah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet (SAW), upon whom be peace, said:

“Fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah absolves the sins for two years: the previous year and the coming year, and fasting on ‘Ashura, (the tenth day of Muharram) atones for the sins of previous years.”
