Lund is a lovely old university town a few kilometers North East of Malmö. It was actually the first place I touched down in the south of sweden when I came to visit a friend many moons ago.  In the centre of town, directly behind the station stands this lovely gem of a house built in the 1800s and belonging to Annette and Michael. You won't be surprised to hear they both work in the interiors world. The fabulous home is full of vintage, antique finds, designer pieces and the odd item from IKEA and set against a backdrop of beautiful black stained wood flooring and white walls (don't miss the original ceramic wainscoting!). All in all a stunning home, don't you think?!

I think my favourite room of all is the bathroom with that checquered floor and glass cabinet - what a lovely place to store towels, soaps and other items?!

Is there anything that stands out to you?

Items I know and love: pick up Louis Poulsen workshop pendants here, this vintage plan chest is similar,  Thonet chairs (15% off with code MYSCAN) and Ant chair , this IKEA trolley is similar, OMAR stainless steel shelves and BEKVÄM foot stool,  SMEG fridge. Tulip armchair chair (in white), Trisse coffee tables,  Ghost sofa.

Get the look with paint: Wimbourne white,  Railings and Pitch Black by Farrow & Ball are similar.

Other fab homes with a similar signature style include Swedish stylist queen Lotta Agaton's previous apartment and this country home in Skåne.

An almost mid week post wouldn't be the same without helping us dream of dropping it all and escaping to a remote cabin - I think this log cabin overlooking a fjord in the Faroe Islands fits the bill, don't you?!

Have a lovely day!
