This week we surveyed our MyrtleBeach.com Facebook fans about their favorite burger joints in Myrtle Beach. They listed more than 60 different Grand Strand restaurants so we’ve narrowed it down to the top ten that received the most mentions. We’ve got top local selections, big brand names and oldies but goodies.

River City Café was the unanimous favorite place to get cheeseburgers in Myrtle Beach. Fans love to throw peanut shells on the ground while stressing over which burger concoction they’ll have for lunch or dinner. Burgers come basically any way you can imagine- they serve anything from a Smores Burger to a Reuben Burger and anything in between. Other favorites include turkey burgers, chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers and seafood platters.

Hamburger Joe’s is family owned and operated and is known for their great value. Cheeseburgers are just over $4 a pop and you can order a hot dog for under $2. Everything is made in-house and hamburgers are prepared daily. Other menu selections include beer battered onion rings, Joe’s Gold wings, Buffalo wings, corn dogs and a barbeque plate. Don’t forget to leave the dollar that you’re sure to save hanging on the walls of the restaurant.

Margaritaville is located at exciting Broadway at the Beach and is home to Jimmy Buffett’s famous “Cheeseburger in Paradise.” The restaurant has expanded their burger selection to include the barbeque bacon cheeseburger, black and bleu burger, El Diablo burger, Al Vacado turkey burger and a veggie burger. Wash each delicious burger down with a boat drink and enjoy the energetic atmosphere inside or outside.

Peaches Corner has been a landmark on Ocean Boulevard for more than 75 years and has been a fan favorite for just as long. They serve up classic burgers and cheeseburgers and even the “De Vine Burger” topped with cheddar cheese, fried green tomatoes and chipotle mayo. The restaurant is also famous for its foot long hotdogs- you can even get one topped with peanut butter, mayo and onions. Finish off your meal with hand-scooped ice cream or a slushie.

If you’re craving a juicy burger you can’t go wrong at a place called Cheeseburger in Paradise. The tropical setting offers seven different burgers to choose from including a Prime Kobe Burger topped with caramelized onions, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Cheesburger in Paradise features other special items like Frickles, Island Quesadillas, St. Barts Citrus Chicken and an extensive list of boat drinks.

Build your very own hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon burger bacon cheeseburger or little versions with toppings like grilled mushrooms, relish, onions, jalapeño peppers, A1 Steak Sauce and almost any other burger fixing you can think of. No burger is complete without a massive heap of French fries!

Stop by Burky’s Grill for a 1950s diner feel and some of the best burgers, hot dogs and ice cream in town. Oscar’s Food & Spirits is one of the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers bars in the area but it’s also known for its charbroiled burgers. Stuff yourself with these half pounders served with your choice of lettuce, pickles, onion, mustard, ketchup and mayo. If you’re extra hungry you can “Oscar-size” your burger and add a patty. Other menu items include grilled tuna, Southwestern Chicken Salad, hamburger steak, onion rings and potato salad.
