Myrtle Beach has plenty to keep kids and adults entertained during the Halloween weekend.

Halloween brings plenty of spooks out in Myrtle Beach. From haunted houses to trick-or-treating action, we’ve got something for everyone at the beach! Take your pick from great action spots all along the Grand Strand but make sure to check first to see if the event or attraction is kid-friendly!

Plan on attending the HalloWine Dinner at Croissants Bistro & Bakery. The festive five course meal will be paired with Elizabeth Spencer wines for $65/person. Come dressed in costume for a delicious night out. The dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 30.

Dr. Screams will feature two spooky experiences in the Myrtle Beach this year. They'll be open at the Myrtle Beach Speedway and at the old Philip's Seafood on 21st Avenue North along Highway 17 Bypass. The haunted adventures open at 7 p.m. nightly from October 17-November 2. Admission is $15/person at each location.

Huntington State Park will host a Haunted Halloween event at Atalaya castle. From 6-9:30 p.m. Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 kids can head through creepy haunted houses, play loads of carnival games and watch a spooky cartoon on a giant screen. They'll also host a bonfire with s'mores for all to enjoy! Admission is $10/adult and $7/children ages 6-15. Kids five and under get in free.

Broadway at the Beach is home to several Halloween events this year with something for visitors of all ages. Check out the adult fun at Celebrity Square of Terror starting at 7:30 Saturday October 27. Party in the square with a DJ, and be sure to stay for the costume contest, which will happen later in the night. And, of course, bring your crew out to the annual Broadway at the Beach Trick-or-Treat from 4:30 to 6:30 Thursday October 31. Participating merchants will hand out goodies throughout the shopping and entertainment complex.

Bring your kids down to the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk from 5 to 6 p.m. on Halloween night for the annual children's costume parade and contest, which includes trick-or-treating. Prizes will be awarded for the scariest, funniest and most creative costumes. The adults come out to play from 7 to 10:30 p.m. where the winner of the adult costume contest will take home a cash prize of $1,500! Second place wins $750; third place $350; and fourth place $175.

Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach hosts kids' and pets Halloween costume contests starting at 12 p.m. Saturday Oct. 26. The event includes prizes, carousel rides, kids' karaoke, a petting zoo, face painting and more! Return from 5 to 7 p.m. Halloween night (Thursday, October 31) for a safe evening of trick-or-treating around the shopping and dining complex.

If you really want to get your heart pumping, head into downtown Conway for its annual Terror Under the Bridge. Set in an old abandoned warehouse, this creepy landmark is known by some to actually be haunted. Each year they offer new props, actors and brand new layouts of the warehouse itself. The event runs from October 25 through Halloween night with doors opening at 7 p.m. each night. Tickets are $10, and the warehouse is located just off 2nd Avenue in downtown Conway, South Carolina.

Check out the Children's Museum of South Carolina's Boo Bash from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 26. Explore the museum for a reduced price on $4. Parents are invited to come in costumes as well.

Ripley's Haunted Adventure, located at 9th Avenue North on Ocean Boulevard, is open year round and features live actors inside a giant haunted house. The sounds and special effects add to each frightening walk through and are sure to chill you to the bones this Halloween.

Nightmare Haunted House is located at 10th Avenue North on Ocean “Boo”levard. This haunted house attraction has been around since the '80s scaring the wits out of tourists and locals alike. A crazy clown laughs his evil laugh as you struggle to find your way through the dark corridors. Live actors and props make the experience as chilling as possible.

More in the mood for a giggle than a fright? Check out Carolina Improv Company's "Whose Haunting Is It Anyway?" show at 7:30 p.m. October 25 and 26. This Halloween-themed comedy will put the cast to work with audience suggestions about all things Halloween. Tickets are $11 and the shows are rated PG-13.

House of Blues is set to host a Zombie Beach Party on The Deck. Dress up as your favorite undead character and get your makeup done by professionals. Enjoy live entertainment, drink specials and prizes. The party will start at 8 p.m. Friday, Ocober 25 and admission is $5/person. The party is open to ages 18 and up.

Kids can choose their own adventures with scare-free and scare zones at the annual Howl-O-Scream at McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach. Activities include pumpkin painting, marshmallow roasting, hayrides and trick-or-treating. The event is set for 5-8 p.m. Saturday, October 26

Captain's Quarters Resort in Myrtle Beach is hosting a Halloween Party from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, October 26. Expect visits with Salty the Shark and a fun costume party. The event is family-friendly and open to the public.
