You may be familiar with their cover of “Cups” from Pitch Perfect by Anna Kendrick, which blew up on youtube earlier this year with over 16.5 million views. They are Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren and Dani Cimorelli; six sisters from Sacramento, CA who recently signed to Universal Music’s Island label after gaining popularity for their a capella cover songs posted on the video-sharing website.
And now, the group filled with plenty of sisterly love is hanging out in the City of Brotherly Love in our Eye Opener Music Beat. The girls talk about their new EP Made in America and what it’s like spending time together 24-7 while touring the country.
