I love to think of ceiling lamps as jewelry for the home. More precisely, pendant and chandelier lamps do to an interior exactly what the earrings do to a woman; they complete the outfit (read: design) by adding character to a given style. How different would a neutral room feel with a crystal chandelier or a minimal brass pendant lamp hanging from the ceiling? For that matter, I had fun putting together a list of gorgeous lamps and their respective earrings for 5 different style types including warm metals, elegant pearls, raw crystals, geometric golds and minimal blacks.
