The Metropolitan Ballet Theatre’s Nutcracker continues this weekend and is an area tradition in its 27th
year. Tonight’s performance at the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center starts at 7:30 p.m.
Paul Morella returns to Olney Theatre for his one man adaptation of A Christmas Carol at 7:30 p.m.
Claire Lynch performs a holiday show at BlackRock in Germantown at 8 p.m.
Sandy Spring Theatre Group’s production of A Charlie Brown Christmas continues at Gaithersburg’s Arts

Saturday, December 12
Hike the Muddy Branch Greenway with Locust Grove park naturalist from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Free with registration.
Do you have small children ages 6 months to 3 years? If so, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s Music Box Series
may be of interest. Today’s program, Sleigh Ride features a string quartet playing songs about winter,
bells and sleigh rides. Prior to the concert, children explore instruments and activities in the lobby. Performances at 10 and 11:30 a.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building.
