It’s Food Allergy Awareness Week, and there are an amazing number of resources out on the web. Lucky for us food allergy mammas (or kiddos), the internet can be a great resource for you to connect with professionals and experts in the field. Take a peak at some of the food allergy bloggers that caught my eye!



The Allergy Friendly Cook

Cybele wears so many amazing hats. To start she’s a food allergy mom, she is food-allergic herself, she is an author, and she runs a food-allergy baking company! On her site, you can find a large selection of recipes that are free from the top 8 allergens. In Cybele’s recipe section you can find recipes on appetizers, baked goodies, desserts, salads, drinks, sauces, side dishes, snacks and soups. She also makes Cybele’s Free To Eat cookies that are available in grocery stores across the country.

Learning to Eat Allergy Free

Colette, aka The Allergen Free Baker shares information on her site that helps busy families that are living with multiple food allergies. She is a food allergy mom who became an expert on baking allergy-free after her son was diagnosed with multiple food allergies. In the recipes that she shares on her site she talks about how to bake without wheat, dairy, eggs, soy and nuts. Colette also shares other food allergy related information.

It’s an Itchy Little World

Jennifer shares a wealth of information at her site. She is a “mompreneur and founder of The Eczema Company.” Jennifer shares her experiences dealing with eczema, allergies and asthma. She features information and stores from guest bloggers and industry experts.

One Spot Allergy

Elizabeth Goldenerg is a well known allergy expert and lawyer in Canada. As the founder of One Spot Allergy, she shares information and news relating to allergies. She is a mother to two boys, one of which has a life-threatening allergy to peanuts and tree nuts.

Welcoming Kitchen

Kim Lutz is the friendly face behind the gluten free, vegan, allergy friendly blog Welcoming Kitchen. She shares recipes that are free from the most common top 8 food allergens and she strives to make great tasting food – no matter what the food restriction.

Allergy Smallergy

Is a fun blog written by Erin, a mother of food-allergic child. She strives to show others how to live safely with food allergies. Her blog shows how her family doesn’t let food allergies slow them down! Her blog focuses on many food allergies including: milk, egg, soy, wheat, peanut, tree nuts, sesame seed and more.

Food Allergy Mama

Kelly Rudnicki is the beautiful mama behind the blog Food Allergy Mama. Kelly is an amazing writer and has been published numerous times. Most notably she is the author of The Food Allergy Mama’s Easy, Fast Family Meals, The Food Allergy Mama’s Baking Book and Vegan Baking Classics. Kelly shares information and recipes on her blog. She focus on food allergies, as well as healthy and clean eating.

Keeley McGuire Blog

Keeley McGuire and Little Miss are the stars behind the Keeley McGuire Blog. Keeley and her daughter make food allergies fun with their creative and imaginative lunches. Keeley is well-versed on brands that are food-allergy friendly and she shares food-allergy information on her site.

The Fit Cookie

Sarah Jane blogs about fun, fitness and healthy food at her blog The Fit Cookie. Sarah Jane has lots of experience in the world of food allergies. She has two kids with multiple food allergies including milk, eggs, peanuts and tree nuts. She also lives with her own food intolerances which include dairy, soy, gluten, yeast and beans.

Peggy blogs at Allergy Free Test Kitchen. She shares recipes that are free from gluten, eggs, milk, corn and refined sugar.  Peggy is a busy mom that makes beautiful family-friendly recipes. She loves to share about fun ways to eat allergy free!

Lauren blogs about her family adventures over at Our Life As An Epi Family. She works to “inject hope into the world of food allergies and beyond.” Lauren shares amazing “top 8″ allergy-free recipes as well as tons of food allergy information. She also shares about “food allergies in the news” on a weekly basis!

Vegetarian Mamma

Cindy (That’s ME!) blogs at VegetarianMamma. I share recipes and chat about products that are gluten-, peanut- and tree nut-free.  Many of my recipes are also either dairy free or vegan! I share my adventures as a food allergy mamma and our family adventures with our service dog Gia!
