My client is a market leader in the water and wastewater industry. They provide water and wastewater services to around 1.4 million people in the Auckland region, as well as the efficient and environmentally friendly collection and treatment of wastewater.
They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Drainage Serviceperson to join our outstanding team in Penrose.
About the role:
No two days will ever be the same, so boredom is never an option! As part of the Drainage team you will be hands on and involved with;
- Man hole and Sewer pipe dig ups and repairs
- Jet Wash cleaning
- Maintenance on pump stations
- Repairs and maintenance to the waste water networks
- Customer interaction
You will be an excellent communicator, engaging with a high standard of customer service as you will be dealing and working with members of the public.
We would like to hear from you if you have the following attributes, skills and experience:
- Relevant Drainage experience preferred
- Minimum Class 1 however a Class 2 would be an advantage
- A commitment to Health and Safety
- Flexible to work weekends and overtime
- Confident operating a variety of hand tools
- Good work ethic
- Confined spaces certification desirable
- Physically fit
