Digital Product Manager

What will you do?
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Product Manager, with a passion for all things digital to join this organisation and work on high profile digital projects, initially in the mobile app space. You will become a champion for a product that will be used by thousands of Kiwis every day.
A day in the life:
You will be responsible for the delivery, ongoing success and continuous improvement of your designated digital products, and will work with a number of key stakeholders, acting as a conduit between different business units and external partners to deliver important business outcomes.
As a product manager you will be able to look outward, ensuring you understand the customer's needs, whilst also focusing inwards to manage the value stream that transforms the stakeholder's needs into digital functionality that is ready for use by the end customer. You will have a strategic focus and utilise your strong analytical and project management skills, whilst displaying a real depth of digital knowledge.
The ideal person:
It goes without saying that you will be passionate and knowledgeable about all things digital, preferably with experience within e-commerce and/or mobile. In order to be successful you will need strong decision making, communication and story writing skills, along with experience delivering projects in an agile capacity. You will be able to understand a vision, take ownership and execute it.
In addition you will need:
Experience using project and issue tracking software such as Jira, Asana and Basecamp
Experience with Digital Analytics tools, preferably Google Analytics
A good working knowledge front-end functionality and user experience
A thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle
A proven ability to manage external suppliers
Previous experience in a comparable role
