In case you’re thinking you’d like to go one day I have some great news for you: there’s plenty of offers on their website if you book directly through their website! The Early Bird Offer for example gets you a whopping 40% off their best available rates. There’s also an offer where you can get one night free, and there’s a comprehensive spa retreat package available tool. However you still might find these prices a little too steep – in that case, head to Trivago. Because they compare prices from lots of different travel sites you’ll be more likely to find a real bargain!
Getting to The Residence Maldives
You can book flights to the Maldives from either London or Manchester, and there’ll be a stopover on the way. When you arrive at the Maldives you’ll get a 30-day visa upon arrival if you have a valid passport and ticket for your return flight (plus enough funds to cover your trip). The Foreign & Commonwealth Office have more information about entry requirements if you’re still unsure!
The resort itself is actually quite far from the main island of Malé – after all the Maldives are the most dispersed island nation in the world! Fret not though, the hotel will arrange transfers from the airport. There are two options you can take. The first is a transfer via a domestic airport called Kooddoo. From there it’s a 55 minute flight and a 7 minute speedboat ride to the resort. You might also have the chance to fly directly by seaplane – this will take around 90 minutes, provided the service is available.
