The Royal Panacea hotel is located in the buzzing resort of Gumbet, just down the coast from Bodrum itself. Situated within walking distance of the resort centre with its shops, bars and cafes, this hotel has great views over the town thanks to its hilltop position, and is just 600 metres from the beach. The hotel has a pool and lovely landscaped gardens, as well as a sunbathing terrace and even a spa with Turkish bath, although that will cost you a bit extra. This hotel scores 4/5 on TripAdvisor.
Gumbet is a vibrant resort located just 5km from the elegant Turkish seaside city of Bodrum, which never really seems to lose its charm no matter the million tourists that flock there each summer. Bodrum, with it’s castle and Ottoman grandeur, has attracted Turkey’s intellectuals and artists since the early 20th century. The city is famous for its whitewashed houses with blue trim, and well-preserved Aegean flavour. Turkey itself is famous for it’s hospitality and delicious food, which mixes the best of Mediterranean flavours with exotic Middle Eastern spice to create a rich and varied cuisine.
