Karora is a company based out of the Emerald Isle of Ireland who have taken the faux tanning experience by storm with their botanical bronzing skin wear collection which recently hit stores at Ulta beauty stores across the United States.
The Karora collection includes a range of different tanning products like bronzing mousse, instant tan, gradual tan, and CC cream. I had the pleasure of testing out the bronzing mousse which included the the self tanner applicator mitt along with the sample sized instant tan, gradual tan, and CC cream. I have never really been much of a sunless tanner, however the older I get the more I realize that the sun really does cause a lot of damage to your skin whether it's sunspots, wrinkles, and/or premature aging. Sadly it's taken me 22 years to discover this, but on the bright side I am now a huge supporter of self tanners.

Karora really impressed me with their line of skinwear products down to the very fact that they're made with skin caring botanicals and are formulae free from nasty chemicals. I also loved that the Express Bronzing Mousse developed within just 1 hour and left my skin feeling moisturized with it's boosting botanicals. The application was effortless and easy as well as dried within seconds plus it smells pretty great being applied although post shower it smelt just like that funky sunless tanner smell I remember. While we're on the topic of application if you have the self tan applicator mitt then you'll be set to go for that easy application I was talking about a sentence ago. The mitt helped me to apply the self tanner evenly without leaving streaks as well as kept my hands from getting orange. I would definitely recommend getting one, although, with the purchase of any Karora product at Ulta you receive this mitt as a free gift so win, win. I would say the entire process of applying the self tanner took me about 10 minutes, but it was 10 minutes well worth my time.
I left this product on for an hour and 20 minutes before rinsing it off in the shower and found my skin beaming with a natural glow afterward almost like I had spent the day out in the sun. If you had 3 hours to spare then leaving it on the full amount of time would have left you looking like a bronze bombshell unfortunately for me I can't sit still that long. Overall, I loved how evenly my tan developed as well as how my tan looked so natural without looking orange or fake.
Of the samples I received, I have tested out the CC cream and really loved how clear it made my complexion look after applying. I was afraid it wasn't going to blend well with my skin tone but to my surprise it worked wonders blurring away any and all imperfections.
Overall, the Express Bronzing Mousse is amazing. I would definitely recommend giving this product a try if you are looking for a quick, easy to apply self tanner that really delivers good results.
