Ok i have enough of the staff of MyBB always bullying people trying to help them beeing better!
Twelve hours before the end of the countdown for the 1.6 version of MyBB, i sent a Private Message to Matt Rogowski telling him that the poor coding of the downcounter in the header of MyBB site was giving a very bad image of their coders habilities to the public...
I have to tell you that we had an agreement to help each other in the previous days. He responded by telling me that he will transfer my message to Ryan Gordon and hope he will make the corrections as i suggested and taking at the most 3 minutes for a good coder.
The response of Ryan Gordon was insulting, blaming me to make MyBB lose their precious time with stupid things like that. He also told me with a very pretentious attitude how much of a developper he was, like if what he told me was impressive. I can tell that it was not impressive at all!
So this is the retribution for trying to help MyBB community keeping a nice image and be more professional. Now i have enough losing MY precious time helping them!
In french we say " Help a pig and he will come shit next your door!"...
The proof of the bad coding and poor judgment of Ryan Gordon appeared mostly at the end of the countdown were many people were anxiously waiting to see the link to be able to download the new version. It failed miserably because he put the WRONG day in the link to the Blog. How could such an unprofessionnal and unqualified person be trusted as the Developpers Leader of MyBB team?
MyBB have become a community run by kids and for kids, i really do not know how they can have the slightiest hope to get investors interested in them! For sure they lost me, now i will not invest in their community forever.
MyBB will be forked and available on one of our site in just few months with NO bugs and a lot more standard and international features. It will have an auto-update for plugins available from MyBBCodes.com plus an auto-install feature for them. You will have exclusive support from us and many more extra options. The themes available for standard MyBB will be compatible with our own themes as well as most of their free plugins that would be manually installable.
The final product will be a semi-commercial supported product available for arround 50$/year.
So this is my answer to the bad boys of MyBB, continue to act like kids, brats and bullies. Meantime someone else will be more professionnal and divide your world...

P.S. I was not the only good software developper to leave their childish community, many other good developpers left because mostly of the staff and secondly because of the immature nature of their forums. As i heard that other coders hated Ryan Gordon, now he has another person thinking he is an immature, narcissic, unprofessional and low IQ person.
