Job Description The Technical Trainer Sr. position will be responsible for executing the operational requirements of the
Training Support Program under the Training Support Division (TSD), Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM). Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
• Assist in the development and conduct of information technology training to units located in OCONUS TSD Data University locations
• Provide formal classroom training instruction support on military as well as government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) equipment.
• This position will serve as primary instructor and/or assistant instructor demonstrator, as required by the Training Support Program under the Training Support Division (TSD), Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM). When required, training shall be done at night and in inclement weather.
• The instructional materials will include Information Assurance / Network Management, CISSP, CEH, CISCO,(ICND1, ICND2, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCNA Voice, CCNA Security) CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, Server+) and Microsoft (Office, Window 7, Window Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server, and SharePoint.
• Evaluate training material and provide recommendations to the government on any revisions that may be required.
• Perform analysis of existing training processes and instructional approaches to determine how best to standardize while also taking advantage of blended electronic learning solutions.
• Develop training and documentation to support hardware and software training to include, POI s and lesson plans in order to execute training of TSD in support of the U.S. Army.
Basic Qualifications •Bachelor's degree (preferred degree is in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or any engineering discipline)
•Five (5) years of experience
•Additional eight (8) years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education requirements
•Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted based on the Typical Minimums required for this job which are three years of related experience and a Bachelor s degree in a related discipline.
•Familiarity with/ability to train on Basic IT Networking, Advanced Cisco Routing, Voice Over IP, Cisco Call Manager, Promina Operations, Promina Maintenance, REDCOM Operations, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMPc), Solarwinds Toolset, Orion, Heat Trouble Ticketing, Cisco PIX Firewall, Netscreen Firewall, Hercules, Retina, Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA), Cisco Active Control Server (ACS), Microsoft Exchange Server, Active Directory, 3M 0and/or ETA Fiber certified, WIN-T Inc. 1,1a 1b and 2 systems architecture and tactical command operation based systems and training.
