What will I be doing?

A Capital Project Manager is responsible for:

· Develop and define the scope of the project by documenting the specific needs of the improvement by observation, feedback from involved departments, ownership and/or professional consultants.

· Develop a request for proposal from the documented scope and determine a minimum of three professional companies to price the work.

· Lead pre-bid meetings to clarify the scope of the project, logistics and existing conditions.

· Assist with determining the winning bidder by reviewing bids and qualifications and developing a comparison spreadsheet analyses for the project team to review.

· Submit required documentation for the expenditure request to Owners and Hilton Worldwide and track approval status via web based system.

· Refine and establish project schedule by understanding material lead time, anticipated project duration and coordinating acceptable time frames with all departments involved or affected by the project.

· When all required approvals for the expenditure are met, initiate project start and oversee day to day progress to ensure that work is performed in accordance with the agreement and workers are respectful of fellow team members, hotel guests and hotel property and equipment.

· Assist in the planning and budgeting of current and future capital expenditures.
