McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting a Global Pain & Pediatrics Franchise Senior Brand Manager (SBM), located in Fort Washington, PA.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare is the global leader of the OTC market with TYLENOL®, IMODIUM®, NICORETTE® and ZYRTEC® among a large number of leading brands.

The Global Pain & Pediatrics Franchise SBM will take an important strategic and innovation leadership role within the organization and will represent that role across all aspects of the business. He/she will have strong relationships with division and functional colleagues and will provide strategic, solutions-oriented counsel to accelerate the growth of the global pain and pediatric OTC businesses.

This position reports into the Group Brand Director (GBD) Global Pain & Pediatrics Franchise and its main responsibilities are:

Create robust global pipeline of meaningful, differentiated and sustainable new products and claims based on compelling consumer insights. Lead Global project teams with full responsibility for all aspects and delivery of innovation including commercial proposition. Cross geography sharing of insights, technologies/innovations. Identify innovation platforms and switch opportunities. Accelerate growth in select Emerging Markets consistent with global OTC Strategic Plan. Focus on driving growth in existing priority markets and driving entry strategies for new markets in partnership with the regional franchise. Work with the Global Franchise Leadership Team and lead the Global Innovation Teams on Pain and Pediatrics to explore opportunities for improved processes and capabilities. Transfer Success Models across countries and regions. Drive alignment among key stakeholder and decision makers: Leadership teams, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, Switch Centre of Excellence, Regional Franchise, etc . Develop and Deliver the Global Pain & Pediatrics Franchise Strategic plan in coordination and partnership with key stakeholders. Monitor market dynamics to develop and/or change strategic and tactical marketing plans based on consumer, category, and competitive data and insights. Ensure deployment and adoption at a regional and country level. Proactively manage external environment developing specific plans to manage current and future issues and opportunities. Proactively identify learning needs and seek new and better tools and methodologies to provide creative solutions to business issues. Potentially planning and directing performance of Associate Brand Managers over time, Interns, Coaching and developing less experienced colleagues. Work within the Global Franchise Organization aggressively seeking opportunities to build skill sets fostering a high performance environment and culture of collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or equivalent degree is preferred. A minimum of 6+ years marketing experience is required. OTC, Healthcare and/or CPG marketing experience is preferred. Global marketing experience is preferred. Pipeline and/or product launch experience is preferred. Strong track record of leadership in high performance CPG or healthcare environment is required. Candidates must have strong communication and demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and upper management to impact decision making. Ability to work within and lead a cross-functional team is required. Strong strategic skills, business analytics, consumer insights development, understanding of core marketing levers are required. Must possess demonstrated leadership and delivery of consistently strong results. This position may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.
