Position Description: Remote .NET Systems Developer Senior Specialist

Xerox Services has an immediate need for a developer to join our development team to develop our new Suite of .NET applications. This is a virtual office position. No sitting in traffic or spending time driving to work!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join a small team to develop a new system for a large client. The system consists of modules including reconciliation, securities, corporate actions, claims processing and complex reporting to name a few. This person must be self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision, and must produce high quality work. Testing and quality assurance are very important aspects of this product.
Principle Responsibilities:
Code, test, and debug programs or selected components based on defined specifications using Visual Studio, C# and ASP.NET MVC.
Review and analyze subsystem requirements to produce an internal design consisting of program specifications, screen designs, and workflows.
Work independently with general direction from the project team.
Assist in system testing.
Minimum Requirements and Experience:
* Developer; minimum of 5 years of ASP.NET/C# application development
* Expert in ASP.NET MVC and WCF Web Services
* Proficient in Entity Framework and ANSI SQL
* Experience with JQuery, HTML5, Bootstrap, and Responsive Design
* Deep understanding of OO concepts, practices and procedures with an ability to contribute to the design of complex product architecture
* Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
* Experience working with source code control and configuration management methodology
* Exposure to Agile methodology
* Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated Testing a plus
* Experience with WPF MVVM a plus
* Knowledge of financial applications would be an advantage
