* Provides HR services and support in one or more areas of human resources, i.e. recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, etc.
* Responsibilities include a multitude of activities such as policy/guideline interpretation, assistance in the escalation of employee grievance issues, liaison to workers' councils and unions, implementation of business events, workforce balancing, new employee orientation, etc.
* May also act as a business partner to managers, including counseling senior business managers on people-related strategies.
* Develops, implements, and administers compensation or benefits policies/programs within the organization.
* Typical assignments include assessing competitive practices and the organization's competitive position for specific programs, developing recommendations for actions or programs, preparing reports and recommendations related to programs.Develops and administers proactive programs, procedures and policies related to employee relations activities.
* Responsibilities include auditing the organization to identify employee relations issues, investigating formal employee complaints and making recommendations to resolve issues, and compiling statistical reports and information.
* Ensures that legal requirements are met in terms of employee relations to minimize exposure to liability.
* A seasoned, experience professional with a full understanding in area of specialization

*_Additional Job Responsibilities_*
* Help the Client assess potential employee fit for assignments which helps translate to successful assignment management.
* Counsels, consults and collaborates with HR Managers on mobility related questions
* Advises client HR team members during assignment/ planning process, making recommendations on appropriate assignment/ terms and conditions as needed
* Follows-up on unapproved initiations and provide guidance to HR and Managers
* Assists with the global administration of immigration, tax and compensation services
* Conducts pre-assignment orientation for client assignees going on long term, commuter, or short term assignments, including compensation details where applicable
* Provides ongoing advice and support as the single point of contact for the duration of the assignment for all client assignees
* Coordinates all third party international services (shipment of household goods, cross cultural training, language training, temporary living needs, visa and passports, and property management) and manages all activities of the assigned third party suppliers related to the transfer, assignment and repatriation where appropriate
* Manages all payments related to the assignment including expatriate expenses, third party supplier invoices and payroll instructions
* Document all relocation activities and transaction as required for the production of monthly, quarterly and annual client reports
* Serves as point of escalation from third party suppliers
* Responsible for the coordination of cost estimates as the first step of the initiation process and answers all client HR questions regarding the cost estimates
* Reviews final cost estimates and submit to client HR for approval
* Creates the Letter of Understanding for every global relocating employee and makes updates as needed
* Responsible for follow-up with client HR regarding unsigned letters
* Drafts company secondment agreements based off of client-approved template and sends to HR leader for execution
* Abides by the Xerox Code of Conduct
*_Essential Skills/Knowledge_*
* Minimum of 5 years international assignment experience preferred
* CRP and GMS designations from the Employee Relocation Council®
* Demonstrated industry knowledge as it relates to international assignments for: human resources, immigration, international payroll, balance sheets, cost projections and third party data provider information
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Sensitivity to the needs of culturally diverse assignees and their families
* Attention to detail
* Customer service aptitude
* Ability to multi-task and balance priorities
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
* MS Excel and MS Word – preferred
* Equus APro - preferred
