Key R esponsibilities

The Xerox Transportation Solutions, Inc. Project Manager manages and supports Parking and Revenue Control Systems at major US airports across the country. He/she will work with both existing clients for support services, change orders and End of Life upgrades, and new/potential clients for the design and installation of new PRCSs from the proposal stage to Final Acceptance and ongoing support.

Projects and operations will include writing proposals; procurement and manufacture of equipment; procurement and implementation of server systems; design and implementation of network infrastructure; design and implementation of PRCS application software and all associated third party software and tools; training and documentation, warranty support; ongoing maintenance support. Strong emphasis on system software features and functions with the ability to clearly articulate system operations to new and existing Clients.

The Project Manager must be able to effectively communicate with and manage equipment vendors and manufacturers (Xerox builds it’s own parking equipment), electrical contractors and other subcontractors, technical writers and trainers. The most successful Project Manager will have the experience and ability to understand and manage the IT portion of the project, including software design and development, on-site software implementation, reporting requirements and issues list resolution.

Preference will be given to candidates with a current PMI certification, and those located in the Atlanta, GA area.

Experience Required

Minimal requirements:

* 5 years in technical and construction Project Management

* Demonstrated skills in completing IT projects

* Must possess and demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, organizational skills

* Must possess and demonstrate high level of self-motivation and initiative

* Must possess and demonstrate proficiency in PC usage with currently available PC tools and programs

* Involved in the negotiation of new contracts and contract renewals

* Involved in writing proposals for additions, expansions, modifications, updates, upgrades and other miscellaneous project work

* Assist with presentations to customer as necessary to support and clarify changes in scope of work or additions, expansions, modifications, updates, upgrades and other miscellaneous project work

* Contract Administration to include

* Compliance Issues

* Local law and code requirements

* Scheduling
