The third edition of Lollapalooza Berlin has just released its 2017 lineup, featuring a variety of many well-known acts as well as a decent collection of lesser known artists. The festival will be taking place September 9th and 10th, 2017, at it’s new home on the lush meadows of Rennbahn Hoppegarten, a beautiful racecourse located just 30 minutes outside of the heart of the city, and easily accessible by public transportation.
Since its inception in 1868, the racecourse has developed into a treasured destination for Berliners and the people of Brandenburg. The particular setting allows for friends and families to enjoy the countryside’s idyllic charm.
In addition to the festival’s music highlights, youngsters and teens will be entertained at Kidzapalooza, while adults will venture to the “Lolla Fun Fair” for artistry, art and installations. Festivalgoers can also enjoy the Grüne Kiez (‘Green Neighborhood’), which focuses on social responsibility, sustainability and ecological awareness.
You might not be able to bet on a horse, but you can certainly bet on experiencing the festival highlight of 2017! Saddle your horses, and see you at Hoppegarten!
