Black Flag will be going on the Victimology tour this spring and summer, joined by new vocalist Mike Vallely, who last performed with them at the 2003 Benefit Shows at the Hollywood Palladium.
Despite legal troubles between partitions of the same group, Black Flag and Flag, the former will be touring North America in May and June this year.
Last year, Black Flag announced its first album in 30 years, What The…, and shortly after, the latest in a long string of vocalists left the band. Vallely joined the group officially as the new lead vocalist, they also began creating new material and planning the upcoming tour. Most recently, it was made official that bassist Dave Klein also quit Black Flag.
The band may have seen a variety of setbacks and issues in its history, but Black Flag will go forward with the 2014 tour, during which they will be joined on some dates by Hor, a new band by Black Flag founder Greg Ginn.
