As the United States
daily attire has shifted (ahem..devolved) from business professional to
business casual to somewhere just shy of well-kempt hobo, Chevrolet is
taking things in the opposite direction with the release of its new
Midnight Edition lineup.
Complete with a
proper black-tie, the new special editions have been welcomed additions
across the entire vehicle lineup. The Trax, Equinox, Silverado, and
Colorado have all received the midnight treatment and now the
2017 Chevy Tahoe Midnight Edition will be unveiled in
the Boston market later this year.
Not that Tahoe sales are in need of
any help. The full-size SUV is up 18% year over year. When combined
with Suburban, the duo actually constitutes 50% of all full-size SUV
sales in the US.

The new Tahoe Midnight will come
in two different packages: the LT Midnight and the Z71 Midnight.
The Tahoe LT Midnight Edition comes equipped with all of the
features found on standard LT, but it will also come with 20” black
wheels, all-season tires, blacked out Chevy bow tie, black assist steps,
and roof rack cross rails.
The Tahoe Z71 Midnight
Edition includes everything on the Z71 as well as 18” black Z71 wheels,
black bow tie logo, black grille insert, and roof rack cross rails.
