Wednesday, September 16 welcomes MUS parents to campus as the Lower School boys stay home. Upper School students have opportunities to deploy throughout the city for a Day of Service, and they are to sign up with the Civic Service Organization as they negotiate to determine their specific locations.
As for Wednesday, parents should arrive by 8:30 a.m. and register in the Campus Center before heading to Hyde Chapel. In the Campus Center, schedules will be distributed, and parents may have to decide to split time between Upper and Lower schools in order to cover the day.
Lunches will be served in the Dunavant Lecture Hall where an astute faculty panel will entertain you as they offer their musings about their experiences throughout the years with these boys. You don't want to miss this unfiltered, "behind-the-scenes" vantage point about the mean streets of our Lower School reality.
For a preview of the PBTSD schedule: Download Parents' Back to School Day Class Schedule. Refer to your son's class periods in order to determine the day in advance, but Wednesday you will receive a personalized schedule during registration.
Following lunch, parents are encouraged to visit individual teachers if they want a personal recap of their son's performance. Each class should have a post-lunch parent conference sheet sign-up in order to reserve an appointment. If you don't see said sheet, request a time in advance so you don't have to wait in line.
We are honored to have you on campus tomorrow!
