New Delhi: Crescent Academy, a division of Jaipur –based Maulana Abdur Rahim Educational Trust, has claimed on Friday that its four students have been selected for the Indian civil services.  Furthermore, it said its four students in Bihar PCS and one student in UP PCS have also been selected.

The Crescent Academy was established with a vision of providing proper guidance and training to the Civil Services aspirants with special emphasis on creating a sound academic environment.  It was started, over a decade ago, by Maulana Mohd. Fazlur Rahim Mujaddidi who is academician and social activist based in Jaipur. He said that the civil servants play a pivotal role in shaping up the course of the country. It is, therefore, the primary objective of the Academy to prepare students for cracking this elite exam along with inculcating in them moral and human values so that they may prove themselves as unbiased, humane and efficient bureaucrats and administrators.

Till date the academy with its limited infrastructure and resources, but through its innovative cum interactive sessions & consistent test practices has been able to produce more than 100 IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, judges and State civil servants throughout the country, he added.

However, it is puzzling that so many coaching centers for UPSC exams established by the Muslim community but the Muslim percentage remained static in the civil services.
