The most successful duo in UK music history, Pet Shop Boys, is coming to Asia for their Electric World Tour. The tour kicked off last May in Santiago, Chile where they played their ’80s hits “Opportunities”, “West End Girls” and their latest tracks from Electric, “Axis” and ”Vocal” to give the audience a taste of what to expect on the new record, to be released on July 15 (Parlophone Records, Love Da Records for SEA Distribution).
Pet Shop Boys traveled to Asia before, performing in Singapore back in 1994 and 2007 for their Discovery and Fundamental Tour respectively; Taiwan and South Korea for Pandemonium, and Japan for Performance and Fundamental Tour in 1991 and 2007. With additional cities on Electric World Tour, it would be the first time for the Philippines, Indonesia, China, and Thailand to see this duo in action.
Since signing to Parlophone Records in 1985, Pet Shop Boys have had 42 Top 30 singles and 22 Top 10 hits in the UK, including four number ones. Catch them live on the dates below!
