Strap in Singapore music fans, Neon Lights have finally dropped the dizzying second round lineup for the festival’s second edition on 26 and 27 November.

After teasing fans with some cryptic photos on their Facebook page and spreading some inventive rumours through local media outlets, Neon Lights have revealed another 17 acts to appear on the 2016 lineup across the festival’s six stages!

Earlier in the year Foals, Sigur Ros and Crystal Castles were confirmed but fans had to wait until today to find out who else would be gracing the stage at what’s quickly becoming one of Singapore’s premiere, boutique music festivals.

Leading the charge of the second round acts are funk legend George Clinton’s Parliament-Funkadelic (no relation to Hillary), electro pranksters Neon Indian, old school hip hop pioneers The Sugarhill Gang, post-rockers 65daysofstatic, downtempo beat wizard Gold Panda and talented newcomers Pumarosa.

BADBADNOTGOOD will return to Singapore for the second time this year, celebrating the release of their album IV while singer-songwriters The Tallest Man on Earth, Shura, Jose Gonzalez, Blood Orange and Lucy Rose will be hitting the big stage too.

The two-day festival follows the same model as last year, sourcing much of the talent from Hong Kong’s Clockenflap (sorry, no LCD Soundsystem guys) but with the welcome addition of some of Singapore’s best, with local favourites Gentle Bones (fresh of his record breaking sell out Esplanade performances), Linying Disco Hue and Cashew Chemists completing the lineup.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural edition which saw 10,000 attendees across two days, Neon Lights is set to take place, once again, at the historic Fort Canning Park. The equally diverse lineup for 2015 featured 50 acts including headliners Flight Facilities, Nile Rogers and Chic and Irish folk hero Damien Rice.

A limited number of early bird tickets can still be purchased starting at SG$120 for a single day pass from www.neonlights.sg

Stay tuned for further details as organizers have hinted the full lineup will be released in September!
