The Runaround, the second studio album from Austin based indie-folksters Wild Child has received praise from a wide range of press since it’s release on October 8th. Produced by Grammy-nominee Ben Kweller, the band’s sound has been described as an eclectic blend of rock, jazz and gypsy folk with a touch of carivalesque vibe. After a busy summer, Wild Child is gearing up for a string of Fall tour dates in support of The Runaround which includes stops in LA, NYC, Boston and Nashville. [See full list of tour dates below.] Over the past year, Wild Child has begun making a statement in Austin and beyond, winning BEST INDIE ACT and BEST FOLK ACT at the prestigious 2013 Austin Music Awards.
