“My Kind of Love,” the new video from three-time BRIT Award winner Emeli Sandé , premieres today on VEVO. The clip, which can be viewed at http://vevo.ly/Ep5qEH, was shot in Los Angeles by award-winning director Sanji Senaka (Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, Maxwell). “My Kind of Love (Red One and Alex P Remix)” impacts Top 40 radio next week and will be available as a commercial single beginning next Tuesday, September 10. The track is the follow up to Sandé’s multi-format,RIAA-certified Platinum hit “Next To Me.”
Sandé will perform on “Katie” on September 13 and make her “Austin City Limits” debut onNovember 9. “My Kind of Love (Red One and Alex P Remix)” is one of five bonus tracks that will appear on the deluxe edition of her debut album, Our Version Of Events, which will be available exclusively at Target and on the iTunes store beginning October 8. An EP featuring the five bonus tracks – which also include “Next To Me (Kendrick Lamar Remix),” Labrinth’s hit single “Beneath your Beautiful,” which Sandé co-wrote and is featured on, “Read All About It Pt 3″ and her contribution to the Trance soundtrack, “Here It Comes” - will be available on iTunes starting October 8.
Our Version Of Events, has spent more consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of the U.K. album chart than any other debut album in chart history, surpassing even The Beatles’ Please Please Me, which logged 62 weeks in the Top 10. The Scottish singer, who received the International UK Award at the 2013 BET Awards, will kick off a U.S. headline tour on October 11 at The Fillmore Miami Beach. The run will include her first-ever show at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville (October 23) and will wrap up at the Vic Theatre in Chicago (October 26). She will also perform at the iHeartRadio British Invasion with Jake Bugg in New York City on October 10.
