Chonda Pierce — dubbed “country comic” by Billboard Magazine — releases Girl Talk on Dec. 3 through Image Entertainment. This, her 11th DVD project, was recorded before a sold-out, hometown crowd at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on June 22.

Pierce, the RIAA’s best-selling female comedian who sold out 40+ theaters this Spring, returns to the road with a 45-city tour leading up to the release of Girl Talk this Winter. Armed with unpretentious Southern charm and laser sharp wit, Chonda unveils her new material on Sept. 14 in Michigan.

“I think my material is funnier than it’s ever been. I’m more relaxed about who I am and what I do, and it just seemed like everything came together,” shares Chonda during a recent interview with Better TV.

“As the highest-grossing female comedian of all time, I am confident Girl Talk will prove to be another hit for Chonda,” said Image Entertainment’s Chief Acquisition Officer Bill Bromiley. “Her sense of humor coupled with her strong fan base makes this deal a fruitful partnership between Chonda Pierce and Image Entertainment.”
