Aries

This month Aries, Mars will enter Libra, your opposite sign. This could manifest as an opposition in your life between you and a loved one, or the people of your work place, or even a friend. The energy will be one that chafes you, angers you, stirs you to defend yourself as assuredly as only an Aries is capable. But the quest for balance that an opposition presupposes shall leave you with a creeping suspicion that perhaps you should compromise, or yield just a little bit to calm the waters. The fact that this Mars will also oppose Uranus, who sitting every month stubbornly in Aries will however in any leaning towards compromise likely make you appear rash and mad. Uranus, though ruling the socially conscious Aquarius, is nevertheless fiercely independent, an uncontrollable force that is rarely completely understood but which inspires people with flashes of vision. Thus the opposing mars will rile you, ignite you, perhaps bring about through recoiling and raging–such a flash of vision that once it passes, you will know keenly what it is you are to set your sights on this month, how it differs from the norm. It is likely though that this month in being one of unhinging and upheaval will not bring about any resolutions or sound compromises. Best to let the transit pass and the dust settle.

Taurus

This month will begin placidly, in wait for a gathering of important elements and goings on by month’s end. The emergence of the sun in Capricorn in the last two weeks of December, another earth sign which shares values with Taurus, will be the beginning of this fruitful period. Venus too hovering in Capricorn’s later hours will bring you through the end of the year with finesse, charm, and an easygoing, appealing nature–slowly moving, but smiling with a knowing wit. The planets of a troublesome nature are rather out of your reach now, retuning again to the cardinal world–though Pluto as always now in Capricorn will lend even your peaceful days with a knowing sense that change is coming, hurtling even–and you, Taurus, know better than any sign the value of patience, of manifestation–of careful planning and slow moving to get what you want fully and completely. Saturn is moving quicker now through Scorpio, your opposite sign, and perhaps you will find when he leaves that sign that those you felt who weighed upon you, deterred you, or stood in your way were either not true obstacles or have already been discarded–for you are thinning yourself, preparing yourself for that hard road upon which only you must climb.

Gemini

You will be wise to circulate this month Gemini, in the early weeks of December, off the heels of the new moon in Sagittarius, your opposite sign. This new moon may bring unlikely encounters, pleasant ones, romantic ones–spirited ones who perhaps you will meet in the night as the moon is cresting, floating. And by month’s middle, when the full moon in Gemini comes around on the 17th, you will realize the importance of your mingling, the sense of your own depth which crystallizes and becomes clear when mirrored back to you through the faces and the gestures of others. You are made whole through interactions, through communicating, through the vigorous exchange of ideas. Mars coming into Libra another Air sign will douse you with confidence as well, poise, a knowingness. It will be a splendid month for you in which your status shall shine, you shall be attractive, charming, beguiling. Only watch out for Neptune, in a terse application to the new and the full moons–Neptune then may by month’s end and the passing of these transits make it unclear to you what was real, if it was not your own projection of what you wanted–which you were encountering. Neptune begs us to wonder what we are facing, if it is not ourselves lost in our own shadows–or real figures, real threats, real loves. Or perhaps like Cinderella jumping out of her carousel before it turns back into a pumpkin, you will simply be laughing by month’s end. No matter the reality or the illusion, it was thrilling, fun, necessary–all necessary despite what sticks or what goes. Such is Gemini’s lovely versatility.

Cancer

This month, Mars moving into Libra, which is a sign that disrupts the flow of Cancer, reinvents it, corks it, makes one move under pressure–will create some mounting issues again which must be reconciled within the self and then dealt with accordingly in the outside world. There will be an opposition to Uranus as well in Aries, and with Cancer at the foot of this triangle, you may find yourself under telescope, burning under a short ray of sunlight–needing to make flash decisions amidst a threat of crumbling, to reign in your emotional panic, your tendency to want to slide away and hide and take control of some mounting situation. And then, the sun will pass into Capricorn towards the latter half of the month, your opposite sign–there will be a crystallizes, a focusing in your life from the outside in– set off within the public, a clear goal, a within sight enemy-conquerable, slowly moving. You will be able to wield all your difficulty with poise and magnificence should you keep calm, trust your gut, and remain steadfast. There will not be much time to rest with so much energy and opposition and fighting stance in the cardinal signs of the stars. The cardinal signs are reflective of a world in tumult, on a precipice– being a sun sign Cancer simply means you will be embroiled, caught up or perhaps integral to some new world.

Leo

This month, the beginning especially should prove fruitful, easygoing, optimistic for you–the new moon in Gemini and the full in Sagittarius, two weeks apart–with the new moon on the 2nd and the full on the 17th will be light and airy and make you want to be seen, heard, or perhaps you will settle back with your loved one, content to roar behind closed doors. Mars in Libra, at a sextile or harmonious angle to Leo, will imbue your already natural devises with added oomph, endless energy, a rebounding kind of determination to set things in motion this month or at least keep them going, every cog in place, moving smoothly. The mars and uranus opposition cresting now between Libra and Aries will—while stressful for other signs—be stimulating and energetic for you. While others are fretting, crying, watching things burn or float away or seem impossible, your goals seem to be lining up like ducks. Don’t take anything for granted— and if it seems like not enough happens this month, don’t make something happen just for the hell of it—this is a time of peace, of relishing, of ease through projects. Revel in it.

Virgo

The beginning of the month should be a most active time as Venus hovers in the last degrees of Capricorn, a fellow earth sign and Mars finished up a tour through your own Virgo—these two planets together could have brought you a love interest, or personal magnetism so as to make your life one in which your self worth swells. As Mars goes into Libra, your pressure lessens and you can relax and take a deep breath for Virgo can surely get over exasperated. The Sun in Sagittarius—a sign which challenges Virgo’s ideas may make for much mental and physical restlessness this month though  with mercury moving by the heels of the sun. The full moon in Sagittarius will crystallize this restlessness into something challenging, imminent‑which if these powers are used well, could incorporate your ideas with the external, could bring you on to terms with something which you at one point didn’t understand. And then the Sun will move into Capricorn, a sign which you get -another earth sign, and you can stretch your arms out again with everything in order and get a good sleep in before the new year.

Libra

As Mars enters your sign Libra, brace yourself for a month of intensity, compulsion, and rapid change. Uranus will be opposing this Mars touring through your sign in Aries, which shall bring about unforeseen challenges which if handled deftly could round out and secure your course by covering all obstacles in your path. Be ready for a never ending battle. The sun when it moves into Capricorn mid month will crystallize this Mars and Uranus opposition and link it with Jupiter in Cancer for another stimulating, challenging, tense grand square in the sky—another culmination of your efforts, another building and spreading of your ceaseless power to bring together, to create, to connect. It is likely your love life will be pushed back or subjugated in the face of so much personal and external growth. Or perhaps you will attract someone as focused, as integrated into a whirlspin as you are—as brought to tremors by change, by great tidal swifts and you shall ride the surf of these tumultuous days together, laughing.

Scorpio

Saturn is moving swiftly through Scorpio. Perhaps some of the pressure is taken off or spreading out as a soon to be addressed, soon to be culminating force. Your pieces are in ready motion. When the Sun moves into Capricorn and in the latter half of December nears and surround Pluto, your ruler, you will find that you may need to pack your bags again or sit down and close your eyes as an avalanche pulls out the roots of your house. A culmination, an unraveling, a peaking, linked with Saturn in your sign‑a mutual reception it is called when Pluto is in the sign of Saturn and Saturn is in the sign of Pluto and they link favorably. Great things can happen now, great tidal waves of a generation and you like the crusader, the great roman general at the head wielding a javelin or behind as more likely with the way Scorpio goes, directing the moves of the army with your sharp intellect, so deftly wound with your intuition, with your terrible scrutiny and knowing and intense focus. The end of the year may prove to be incredible lucrative, incredibly stimulating, incredibly beautiful.

Sagittarius

This month, your birthday month, you will have a new moon in your sign at the beginning of the month, December 2nd, which should imbue you with an ethereal, untouchable, present quality especially as it is in cross purposes with Neptune in Pisces. It will be a time of regenerating your inner beliefs, of perhaps internal thoughts and quiet spaces—though beware not to get too caught up in a dreamscape, for Neptune in harsh connections has a tendency to fog, distort, lie to you—nevertheless your cognitive powers will be highly imaginative, far reaching, beyond yourself. You may also meet a romantic, beautiful, sensitive man or woman who of course is not exactly how they appear to be. And the full moon on the 17th in Gemini will link your verily with others in a way which you as so ultimately positive, highly aspiring, and good willed would like to connect—on a higher plane as equals.  Mercury going through Sagittarius this month will enhance your ability to be heard, seen, known. There is a concentration in the sky too of opposing cardinal signs, which as yours is mutable‑shall effect you in a way though less startling, still motivating and exciting. An opposition between Mars in Libra and Uranus in Aries is a trigger for great movement, to break down old walls and erect new ones—a wonderful place to end things and begin again and though an unstable combination, may produce, may ˆbegin something wonderful, new, and unexpected. Meeting someone new may be likely this month as well, though it may be out of the blue, short lived, though passionate.

Capricorn

This is a month of much concentrated happening for you Capricorn. The early month shall be slower, though pregnant with the tense, incredibly powerful aspects of the later month when the sun enters Capricorn, conjuncts Pluto and enters into a grand square with Uranus in Aries, Mars in Libra, and Jupiter in Cancer, though the latter  more distantly. Primarily it is a triangle between Mars, Uranus, and the Sun and Pluto. These are heavy hitter planets, so they are called—the great movers and shakers who when accessed, when made powerful through aspect or combination or strength in signs tend to bring about generational change with certain people, certain signs riding the highest waves, breaking down and initiating the change or using it for their own individual purposes. It certainly is an aspect of external upheaval with the world as mad as your insides, reflecting your immanent break, for it culminates in the time of year of Capricorn and in the hearts and minds of Capricorn born. The sun hitting Pluto in late December will allow you to hone, to see clearly what it is you must do for yourself to get ahead, to make your path smooth and accessible. It will not simply be that you are egocentric or self possessed, though this will be true but that you move from a deep feeling, a deep sense of oneness with your environment, a knowing of the nature of your existence, a knowing of your place in this world and you will move assuredly now to make sure the pieces are falling into place. Mars and Uranus hitting Pluto crossly will simply mean that this is not an easy position, there are enemies, oppositions—the world is unsteady, bursting, reddening, heightened of sensitivities and broiling to change and unfetter chains, free dissidents or chain them against their will. Unstoppable force, inspired, untouchable, so concentrated as to make all others jump out of your way—god like power. It will be an important ending to an important year.

Aquarius

This month, a  full moon on the 17th in Gemini will initiate or set into motion some plans of yours, some out of reach idea for yourself or for your loved one‑some adventure, and likely one which would be intellectual, enlightening, different. Mars entering Libra too, another air sign, will in boding so well with Aquarius light your airy wonder with the determination and concentration of fire, giving material and inspiration and presence to your ideas—which have trouble sometimes to come to earth and manifest. With Saturn still in Scorpio it is likely that whatever it is you are striving to create feels limited, made common by its place on this earth, within your community, or in the present realm. But it is your challenge to tweak, to make accessible your ideas in this day and age—and Saturn will only challenge you so as to make your work stable, and in the end of longevity.

Pisces

With a concentration in mutable signs this month, signs of your modality Pisces—such as Sagittarius, Gemini, and Virgo, there will be an unsettling but effecting turn of events. The new moon on December 2nd in Gemini will oppose Neptune in your sign, which could be a highly romantic, impossible seeming day for you that as it passes could settle as dust into something hard and cold and normal, yet the inspiration, the feeling of otherworldliness it will have left you with could be useful to your dreams, your projects. Then the Full moon in Sagittarius, at cross purposes with your Neptune as well will bring the beginnings of the new moon into crystal clear focus, the mystery perhaps revealed—or now of greater depth than its original form. But this is your realm Pisces. You are now quite in access to your natural powers with your own ruler having returned to your sign after over a century of absence. There will be startling dreams, visions, dream walking, and the meeting of old, known souls that your trembling heart thought perhaps only existed in your mind, in your nighttime state. The day and the night are fused in Neptune—dream clouds may become ephemeral in the sunlight but they are nonetheless shifting, waiting, becoming whole as the early nights of winter take up the sky.  The end of the year will be one of enchantment for you, though perhaps a bit unsettling for the world—struck by harsh connections through the cardinal signs and in turmoil all around you. Thus a sense of distance, of quietude, of integration with yourself and eons’ past will protect you, remove you from trouble.
