Baseball Game Travel Plans
Friday through Sunday: As a reminder, the San Francisco Giants will play three home games against Colorado Rockies at AT&T Park. Below are schedules of these games:

The SFMTA advises motorists of the increased congestion in downtown San Francisco related to these special events and advises commuters to use transit, taxis, bicycles or walk and to avoid using the Bay Bridge in the two hours before or after these games.
Baseball fans are encouraged to use Clipper® Card to get to AT&T Park. Customers using Clipper Card receive a 50 cents off an adult single ride when transferring to Muni from BART, Golden Gate Ferry and Transit, and San Francisco Bay Ferry routes (Oakland-Alameda, Harbor Bay and Vallejo). Golden Gate Ferry and Transit and San Francisco Bay Ferry also provide a reciprocal single-ride discount for Muni customers transferring to their service. One-way Muni transfers can be purchased at the AT&T Park ticket windows located at 2nd and King streets and Willie Mays Plaza. Transfers will be sold from 2 hours before the game until the game begins, and again from the beginning of the 7th inning until 30 minutes after the game ends.
As a reminder to fans, in order to reduce congestion on city streets after all events at AT&T Park, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets from the seventh inning until after the post-game traffic has died down. Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street (Peter R. Maloney) Bridge will be closed to all traffic except streetcars, buses, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period. Giants fans parked south of Mission Creek Channel who are heading north of the channel are encouraged to exit to the south along 3rd or 4th streets in order to avoid congestion on King and 3rd streets after AT&T Park events.

All northbound traffic coming from 9th Street will be directed to use Hayes Street to either Van Ness Avenue or Franklin Street. Southbound traffic on Polk Street should use Golden Gate Avenue to Hyde Street until Saturday evening when both Hyde Street and Golden Gate Avenue will be closed.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the Civic Center area on Saturday and Sundayas there will be extreme congestion.
Event participants are strongly encouraged to take public transportation as parking and traffic will be extremely difficult.
All Muni Metro trains will stop at Civic Center station for the Pride Celebration and Parade, as well as at Powell and Montgomery stations for the Pride Parade.
Muni Impacts
Due to street closures in the Civic Center area during the Pride Parade and Celebration, the following muni routes will be affected until 6 a.m. Monday:

Taxi Zones
On Saturday and Sunday, taxi zones will be set up on Van Ness Avenue in front of City Hall and on the south side of Turk Street between Polk and Larkin streets.

Muni one-way and round-trip tickets (at regular fare) will be sold on both Saturdayand Sunday at select locations.
$4 round trip for Adults (ages 18-64)
$1.50 round trip for seniors (ages 65 and older), people with disabilities and youth (ages 5-17)

SF Pride Parade
Sunday: The annual SF Pride Parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. from the lower Market Street formation area. The parade will commence at Market and Beale streets and proceed west on Market Street to Hyde and 8th streets, where it will disband on 8th Street.
At 9:30 a.m. Market Street from Steuart Street to Van Ness Avenue will be closed for the parade. All intersections will be closed to cross traffic during the parade, which is scheduled to end at approximately 5 p.m. As each section of Market Street is cleaned by the San Francisco Public Works personnel, it will be reopened.
The following streets comprise the formation area will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. Traffic on the cross streets will be allowed to continue, subject to delays, except when parade units are actually crossing the intersections:
Beale Street from Market to Folsom streets
Main Street from Market to Folsom streets
Spear Street from Market to Folsom streets
Steuart Street from Market to Folsom streets
Market Street from Beale to Steuart streets
Muni lines that normally operate on Market Street will be rerouted to Mission Street.
Mission Street between The Embarcadero and Van Ness Avenue will be posted as “Tow Away/No Parking” and will be restricted to transit, taxis, and bicycles only. Both Van Ness Avenue and The Embarcadero will be open for through traffic.

REMINDER: Sunset Tunnel Re-railing Project
Project Update:
There will be no construction work this weekend. N Judah Line service will continue to operate on its regular weekend schedule.
The next weekend construction is tentatively scheduled for the weekend of July 10.
Project Description:
The Sunset Tunnel Trackway Improvement Project includes track and infrastructure replacements inside the Sunset Tunnel, located between Cole Valley and Duboce Triangle, Transit Signal Priority upgrades for nine intersections along the N Judah Line and construction of two accessible platforms at Judah Street and 28th Avenue.
These multiple system upgrades to the N Judah Metro Line will make transit safer and more reliable. Seismic upgrades to Sunset Tunnel are important part of the safety enhancement project. It will involve structural retrofit of the tunnel portal retaining walls and their foundations.
In order to maximize construction opportunities, the SFMTA has integrated multiple construction components under the Sunset Tunnel project in order to minimize the inconveniences for both N Judah riders and the community around the construction area:
The Transit Signal Priority (TSP) system upgrades are taking place at nine intersections sequentially along the N Judah Line. The TSP system will use technology to reduce dwelling time at traffic signals for Muni light rail vehicles by holding green lights longer. There will be no TSP work this weekend.
The construction of two new wheelchair accessible platforms on Judah and 28th Avenue which includes longer boarding islands and in compliant of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) curb ramps will make Muni Metro system safer and easier to use for all customers. Construction of the new platforms was successfully completed in late March. The eastbound and westbound stops are now being served by N Judah trains.
REMINDER: Folsom Street Off-Ramp Realignment Project
The San Francisco County Transportation Authority (SFCTA) will continue re-construction of the Folsom Street off-ramp from westbound Interstate 80 to Fremont Street. This off-ramp configuration will facilitate a better gateway that leads into a pedestrian-oriented neighborhood. Installation of a new traffic signal at the off-ramp intersection will allow for a newly constructed continuous sidewalk and bike lanes on the east side of Fremont Street. This construction work is anticipated to complete in July of 2015.
During construction, the 25 Treasure Island Muni route will be affected during all hours of service.

REMINDER: Sewer Restoration Work
Crews from the Public Utilities Commission and San Francisco Public Works will continue the installation work of a new sewer main pipeline on Spear Street between Market and Mission streets. This construction project is anticipated to last until September 2015.
Construction work will continue to take place at the intersection of Spear and Mission streets. Work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day.
During the construction hours, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.:
No street parking will be allowed
Sidewalk will remain open for pedestrian traffic
Local access will be allowed
With an exception of Muni buses, the intersection of Spear and Mission streets will be close to all other traffic
During the closure, there may be brief delays on the following Muni lines and routes:
