ITINERARY

Day 1  : Guwahati – Bhalukpong (186 Kms; 5 hours approx.)

Meet our representative in Airport/Railway station. Drive to Bhalukpong. Check in at hotel. On the way, we will visit Assamese temple and local markets. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Day 2 : Bhalukpong – Bomdila (104 Kms; 6 hours approx.)

After breakfast drive to Bomdila. From Bhalukpong our journey into the eastern himalayas begins. 20 kms from Bhalukpong, we will visit the Tippi Orchid Research Center, largest of its kind in Asia. The route from here will feature many breathtaking views of the mountains, rivers and waterfalls. We will visit the famous Nag Mandir at Kaspi Village, which is also famous for its mountain cliff that houses numerous beehives. Overnight stay at Bomdila.

Day 3  : Bomdila – Tawang (186 Kms; 7-8 hours approx.)

After breakfast, we will drive to Tawang. On the way we will pass through Sela Pass, which at 13700 feet is one of India’s highest motorable passes. We can have a magnificent view of the majestic Sela lake here. We will then reach Jaswant Garh, the site where the Indian Soldier Jaswant Singh put up a last stand against the marauding Chinese army in 1962 war. We will then reach Nuranang where we can get a glimpse of the powerful Jang waterfall. Check in at hotel. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 4  : Tawang
After breakfast, we will head to Tawang monastery and then to Khinmey monastery. After that we visit the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. After lunch, we visit Thuk Choening nunnery. At evening we will have time for leisure and we can explore the markets in Tawang. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 5 : Tawang – Dirang (144 Kms; 7 hours approx.)

After breakfast, we will begin our journey back to Dirang. After arrival, we will visit the 9th century village and pictures sangti valley . Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 6 : Dirang-Nameri Eco camp (156 Kms; 7 hours approx.)

After breakfast drive to Nameri Eco camp on the visit bomdila twin monastery and chillipam monastery. Over night in Nameri Eco Camp.

Day 7: Nameri –Ziro (218Kms; 8-9 hours approx.)

After breakfast, we will go drive to Ziro. On the way, we will stop at tea gardens famous for Assam tea, Nyishi village (Nyishi is the largest tribe of the state). Check in and overnight stay at Ziro.

Day 8 : Ziro
Full day Ziro sight-seeing. After breakfast, we will visit the Ziro market. Then we will head to the Apatani village (another tribe of the state). After lunch, we will visit the town’s craft-center, museum and the emporium. At evening we will have the opportunity to watch, and take part, in apatani folk dance.

We will then, meet the local shaman who will pray for the safe journey of the travellers. Our day ends here. Overnight stay in Ziro.

Day 9 : Ziro – Majuli (186 Kms; 6-7 hours approx.)

Early morning drive to Majuli. Check in at hotel and overnight stay in Majuli. Half day sightseeing in MAJULI.

Day 10 : Majuli – Kaziranga
After Breakfast Drive to Kagiranga

Day 11 : Kaziranga – Guwahati ( 175Kms; 5 hours approx.)

Early morning Elephant safari, and after breakfast, Drive to Guwahati airport according to the flight timings. Drop off at the Guwahati Airport.

1. If cancellation done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.

2. If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded
