As we gear up for the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, who better to hear from than Warwick Davis (Filius Flitwick, Griphook)? Davis has a long history with the Star Wars series, and it is no surprise that he has a role in the upcoming movie. His excitement for the saga is practically contagious as he took to Twitter to show his followers that his role, however brief, finally made the trailer cut! He also didn’t fail to mention how thrilled he was that he was finally able to shoot a blaster.

Davis also posted another picture, taking us on set of the film, where he is half in costume. You may notice his gigantic hands and, if you look to the left, the head he wears. What a costume!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is released December 16! Who is excited for the next installment of this stellar universe?!
How to Get Away with Murder fans, have no fear! You will see Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas) appear as Wes again! No, he will not be coming back to life, but we will see him in the second half of Season 3. Variety had a chance to interview the creator, Pete Nowalk, and ask him what is in store for the latter half of the season.
We’re going to have to reveal what happened after he [Wes] walked out those doors, so it’s a lovely storytelling technique that never makes me have to say goodbye to people, like we still see Sam once in a while, and I’m sure we’ll see Rebecca one day. He’ll be in the rest of the season, basically. And who knows beyond — if we’ll have another season, or if we’ll go to prequels or something.
As you might already know, How to Get Away with Murder is full of twists and turns and constant surprises. Anything is possible, and Pete Nowalk certainly reiterated that, so I guess we will all just have to see what happens!

There is a rumor going around that John Cleese (Nearly Headless Nick) may have a role in the upcoming DC Extended Universe movies, more specifically that of Highfather in the Justice League. This speculation has only come to be because of recent activity from John Cleese on social media, in which we saw DC Extended Universe photographer Clay Enos follow Cleese on Twitter. Now, this may or may not be true and has definitely NOT been confirmed, but it certainly is possible. Leave your speculations in the comments!

Last week, it was announced that Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) will be attending next summer’s Denver Comic Con! Those attending the convention will have the opportunity to get autographs and take photos with her! Tickets went on sale for Denver Comic Con December 2, but it’s not too late! The convention will run June 30–July with a lineup that will not disappoint.
Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort) will make a guest appearance at the Royal Festival Hall during the exclusive charitable performance of Romeo and Juliet by musicAeterna. The night will raise money for the Gift of Life charity, which provides seriously ill children in Russia with medical help. Along with several highly acclaimed Russian actresses, Fiennes will read sonnets from Shakespeare’s plays. A new Ralph Fiennes film, Two Women, will also be premiering at London’s Russian Film Week. Two Women has already been shown in the United States, and it is one of the most anticipated premieres at this year’s festival. Speaking of Russian Film Week, Tom Felton‘s (Draco Malfoy) newest animated film, Sheep and Wolves, will be shown on the big screen! In the film, Tom voices the main character of Grey, a wolf who sets out to prove he can be a leader of the pack.
Russian Film Week took to Facebook to announce their excitement on showing the animated movie. Sheep and Wolves originally released in Romania on April 22 and has since then released in several other European countries.
Julie Walters (Molly Weasley) is set to attend the first UK Television Festival to honor her friend Victoria Wood. The festival will honor the British Film Institute and all of its success in television and will comprise more than 30 events, including talks with some of the biggest names in British broadcasting.
Stephen Fry (voice of UK audiobooks) has recently done something quite interesting. Being the amazing narrator he is, Fry has narrated a Christmas tale called When Santa Forgot as a way to bring awareness to dementia research. The story follows a young girl named Freya who travels to the North Pole to support Santa, who just happens to have dementia. The story urges the importance of medical research and outlines the symptoms and social isolation that comes with dementia. You can watch the full film below!
Stephen Fry’s new American sitcom, The Great Indoors, has been extended for a full season! The show airs on CBS, and the first couple of episodes have received great reviews. The network has ordered 19 episodes in the first season, which is shorter than the usual but is to be expected as it started late in the season. Catch The Great Indoors on CBS Thursdays!

Jim Broadbent (Horace Slughorn) has joined the cast of a new Irish historical drama: Black 47. The drama will star James Frecheville, Freddie Fox, Barry Keoghan, and Stephen Rea, with Hugo Weaving at its head. The film is set in a dark period of history when Ireland was ravaged by the Great Hunger. Read the film plot below:
Feeney, an Irish Ranger who returns home after a long battle abroad for the British army, finds that his home is not as he left it. His mother has tragically died of starvation, and his brother has been sentenced to death by hanging by the English. Under the threat of hunger Feeney’s society has become lawless and desperate. Having lost everything he fought so valiantly to return to, Feeney sets out on a furious quest for revenge. The only thing standing in his way is his old comrade Hannah, a British soldier who has grown into a weary man after so many years of fighting. With Hannah sent out to stop Feeney before he promotes a dangerous rebellion, both soldiers find themselves questioning their motives as they are put to brutal challenges under the vicious times of the famine.
Filming for Black 47 has already begun. A release date for the film is still unknown, but we will be sure to update you if any news arises.
