On a hot and humid day in the Midwest, more than 20,000 runners took the streets of Chicago to participate in the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago Half Marathon. The winners, Jeffrey Eggleston and Maegan Krifchin, felt the effects of the heat, as did many who braved the course. The rewards of scenic Chicago skyline and an unforgettable race was worth the challenge.
