Detroit, 17th December 2014 -- On November 11th, MSX International CEO Fred Minturn officially opened the doors to the MSXI Solutions Technology Centre in the Octagon, Middleborough office building in Colchester, United Kingdom. The newly established center of excellence will concentrate on the further development of MSXI software solutions and tools as well as providing a showcase for its product portfolio for clients worldwide.
The Solutions Technology Centre is home to both the Global Technology Services (GTS) and Solutions Management teams. Both teams will report directly to MSXI Vice President and CIO Brendan Walsh. Walsh commented, "This new facility enhances our opportunity to enable joint services from both teams in order to take on future growth."
At the opening ceremony, MSXI CEO Fred Minturn explained that this facility is one of a number of investments that reflect MSXI's plan to respond to the increasing need for its technology-based services. The centrally coordinated team will provide its expert knowledge regarding tool installation and configuration, usage models, practices and methods, enablement and adoption to support MSXI field forces and clients around the world.
Dave Johnson, Director of Solutions Management, further commented that the Solutions Technology Centre fulfills a growing need for MSXI tools to support a broad range of business requirements, which we service with our core products. MSXI proprietary tools include ConnectIT, a case management tool with workflow capabilities that support vehicle and customer contacts as well as TrackIT, which makes it possible to easily plan the work and results of field team audits. Our warranty services also offer full management of all warranty claims submitted to an OEM including the ability to audit dealer claims processes using the MSXI WireIT tool. Finally, MSXI Dealer enables MSXI to offer end-to-end customer contact management from booking to satisfaction.
