The Office Maven has updated three of his add-ins to version 1.93.939.939.
WHS RemoteApp, WHS Office and WHS Outlook have been updated for users of WHS2011 and WS2012 Essentials (including R2 versions).
WSE RemoteApp
WSE RemoteApp makes it possible for administrators to deliver remote applications (referred to as “RemoteApp programs” or simply “RemoteApps“) to their users. Specifically, WSE RemoteApp enables a straightforward publishing process that allows applications installed directly on the server to be provided to users, allows RemoteApp programs to run side-by-side with local programs, and offers integration with a custom “launcher” application to make it simple for users to find and launch RemoteApp programs. Users can run published RemoteApp programs in a variety of different ways: • Locally from the server’s Launchpad application that is installed on their computer. • Remotely from almost anywhere using the server’s built-in Remote Web Access website. • Locally or remotely from Mac, iOS, Android, and Windows RT computers and devices.
WSE Office
WSE Office provides individual user-level access to the Microsoft Office® applications from your server. WSE Office allows a single server-side installation of Microsoft Office to be accessed by up to 10 users of your network (up to 25 in the “Plus” edition). Using the remote application capabilities of your server, WSE Office provides your users with full access to their very own instance of the individual Microsoft Office applications just as if they were running on their local computer. They’ll enjoy access to Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word (the “Plus” edition also supports Access, InfoPath, Lync, Project, Publisher, SharePoint Workspace/SkyDrive Pro, and Visio) from any Windows-based computer on your network, from almost anywhere using your server’s built-in Remote Web Access website, or from Mac, iOS, Android, and Windows RT computers and devices.
WSE Outlook
WSE Outlook provides individual user-level access to Microsoft Outlook® from your server. WSE Outlook allows a single server-side installation of Microsoft Outlook to be accessed by up to 25 users of your network. Using the remote application capabilities of your server, WSE Outlook provides your users with full access to their very own instance of Microsoft Outlook just as if it were running on their local computer. They’ll enjoy access to their e-mail, contacts, calendars, and tasks from any Windows-based computer on your network, from almost anywhere using your server’s built-in Remote Web Access website, or from Mac, iOS, Android, and Windows RT computers and devices.
