Plex has just enabled its Plex DVR service for users globally. Paired with the HDHomeRun digital Tuner and a Plex pass Subscription, Plex DVR allows you to record both over the air and cable broadcasts on Plex.

Using the Plex app and a media server, you can now record your favorite TV shows and the view them on your Plex device of choice, this includes the Xbox, Windows, and Windows 10 Mobile as well as legacy Windows phones which all have Plex apps.

When using Plex DVR, there are two new tabs added to Plex “Recording Schedule and Program Guide”. Program Guide allows you to see what tv programs are currently airing and even recommends you some new shows to watch based on your tastes.
