Remember the stability updates Sony has repeatedly made to the PlayStation 4? Microsoft, in its latest Xbox One update, is no different. Today’s update reportedly offers nothing new. A tweet from Larry Hyrb, aka Major Nelson, says it will fix what he calls “behind the scenes” bugs. Still no new features.

A system update update for Xbox One is going out today. It’s got a few behind the scenes bug fixes. No new features though.

These fixes should improve the overall performance of the Xbox One. The most significant update from November 2015 introduced the much-awaited Xbox 360 backwards compatibility. This allowed fans to play their favorite classics on the Xbox One (at last!). Over 100 games can now be played including Halo:Reach and Project Dark Zero can be played for free.

What this feature does is add an entirely new library of hit titles released over the Xbox 360 lifetime, going all the way back to 2005. If you owned an Xbox 360 and still have the games digitally or on disc, you can play the compatible games for free. This is far better than the PlayStation Now service found on the PS4, which streams PS3 games at a price.

Xbox One owners should definitely download the update today to fix those “behind the scenes” bugs.
