Week 7 2016 Analysis: NFL DFS Stats That Matter – The Targets & Touches Report. Breaking down the RB, WR and TE positional “team share” for each NFL team.

Knowing which running back is going to get the majority of their team’s carries or which wide receiver is going to get the bulk of their squad’s targets is crucial for winning at NFL DFS. This article is going to help you break down which players to target by going over the touches and targets of each team.

Full credit to the fine folks over at NFL.com who do a great job at helping us keep track of this information.

David Johnson has become a true work horse back and a superstar right before our eyes. Johnson has to be on your radar each and every week moving forward no matter the match-up as he is going to get a ton of touches and is a match-up proof.

Even though Tevin Coleman had the better day fantasy wise, Devonta Freeman is the back you want moving forward. He continues to get the bulk of the carries and has a very favorable schedule for the rest of the season.

While Jeremy Hill had a huge game this week I am not reading too much into his performance as he was still out touched by Gio Bernard in a game that Hill should have gotten the bulk of the carriers. Gio is still my favorite back on this team and will be until Hill starts to out touch him.

With back-to-back big weeks it is safe to say Golden Tate is back. With all the injuries to the Lions, Tate has really stepped up and gotten the ball on quick routes. I expect Tate to continue to see this kind of production moving forward even when the Lions start to get players back in the coming weeks.

Davante Adams continues to have a huge bounce back year and looks to be a great WR3 for the rest of the season. Keep an eye out on Knile Davis this week as he will have a full week of practice under his belt and should get more touches after only being on the Packers for about two days before the start of this game.

Looking over the Jaguars touches and targets over the past couple of weeks and it is clear that is a team that you want no part off right now. They are a mess on offense and you cannot predict who is going to get the majority of their targets or touches.

Michael Thomas looks to have taken over as Drew Brees favorite target. He has lead the Saints in total targets over the past three weeks and has lead the team in red-zone targets throughout the season. While Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead will continue to have good games in the Saints pass happy offense, Thomas looks like your safest Saint wide out moving forward.
