Another balanced lineup lead by Tim Duncan helped us place in all three 50/50’s we entered. I hope you were able to find the right balance last night and reach victory as well.
Three games on the docket tonight and it is by far the tastiest slate so far in the playoffs. There are so many ways to go. Tonight you have three big guns, some smaller guns, juicy mid-tier guys and a ton of value.

Thursday’s Starting Five
I am avoiding Steph Curry tonight and not because I think he will have a bad game. In fact I like Curry will score over 40 fantasy points again tonight. I am passing him over because the value at this position is amazing and you will be able to get the same production for a fraction of the cost. Where are you going to get that production from you ask? Well the answer is from the only Point Guard playing in the playoffs to win a MVP. That is right Derrick Rose is back. I never thought I would be able to type those words but I am sure glad I can. Rose is eating the Bucks for breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight snack in this series. No one can stop him and his minute restriction has been lifted. He is averaging 36.7 fantasy points in this series at a salary of 6100. At his price and the level he is playing at he is a must in your lineup. For reference for everyone who thinks I might be crazy. Curry is averaging 41.05 points in the playoffs at a salary that will cost you an extra 3600. That means you are paying over $750 per extra point for Curry.
Shooting Guard is filled with value tonight. The best value of them all might be J.R. Smith. Smith has done squat in this series so far averaging 8 points, 4 rebounds, and an assist a game. Those numbers have caused his price to drop down below 5000. He has struggled every game against Boston this year and I understand that. With all that being said tonight is the night to jump on Smith. My just be my guts or the left over pizza I had for breakfast talking but Smith is going to blow up tonight. He can only be held down for so long.
What is going on at the Small Forward slot lately? There have been such great options lately. I have fallen in love so much with this position that I have filed for a marriage license. Who am I in love with? I knew you were going to ask that. Well remember the article I wrote in the beginning of the playoffs that said LeBron James was the only one worth paying up for at this position? Yes I wrote that and I was wrong. Draymond Green despite rolling his ankles thirty times a game has entered must play territory. The man is just playing out of his mind right now. He is averaging more points per game in the playoffs than anyone on his team and is playing 42 minutes a night. His salary is once again a fraction of the cost of James and he will be on all my teams tonight.
I want to play about seven Power Forwards tonight just like I wanted to last night but FanDuel keeps giving me errors. Really not sure which two I am going to play to be honest but I have to give you a name here and some one I am strongly looking at for value is Taj Gibson. A couple of things scare me about Gibson and there are a couple of things to love about him. Lets start with the love. When he is on the court he dominates the glass and block shots which gives him a super high floor. Nikola Mirotic has been ruled out today which leaves Gibson as the only back up big man for the Bulls. Now the things that give me cold sweats in the middle of the night thinking about playing him. He is a walking injury hazard. The man gets hurt left and right. I really can not tell you how many times I have seen him hobble off the court. Injuries left him only playing eleven minutes last game and I am scared he does not play that much tonight. He feels like a GPP play to me but if he gets minutes he is going to win someone a GPP tonight.
Andrew Bogut, Joakim Noah, or Timofey Mozgov? Which player not born in the United States should you play tonight? I really can not tell you as they all are great plays tonight. My advice fill out your roster and pick which ever one fits in the salary you have left over. To me the safest cash game play is Noah but I can not fault you for choosing either of the other two.
