Looking for help building your Draftster and Victiv NBA Lineup for Saturday, March 28? Sharing our Optimal Draftster & Victiv Plays, Picks & Lineups for 3/28

Friday night is behind us and on tap on Saturday is a nice five game NBA slate.

A bit of a disappointing night as we missed out on cashing on Victiv. We did however continue our successful month on Draftster with another night of double ups.

After talking up Nerlens Noel all day I missed the boat and took him out of my final lineups due to the blow out factor. That proved to be a costly move as he exploded for over 50 fantasy points. Taking him out with the injury to Derrick Favors and some no shows by other players left us on the outside looking in.

Our Draftster lineups were able to with stain the injury to Favors with some huge performances by Reggie Jackson and Anthony Davis. I will admit my original line up would have scored about 50 more points than the final product but overall I am happy to escape the night with a nice profit on Draftster.

Make sure you check out my post on tonight’s DraftKings action.

I have to take tomorrow off as my son stars in the local play but will be back at it on Monday.

Today I am really going to be watching for rest days from the Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks. They both have clinched their respective conferences and are playing on the second night of a back to back. For the Hawks this will be the second game of four in five nights. The Nuggets and Trailblazers are teams to watch as well. The Nuggets tend to rest certain players on back to backs and the Trailblazers may give some of their injured players a night off after last nights game.

Lets jump in to tonight’s Starting Five using the information on hand at the moment. If we need to we will come back and adjust our lineups accordingly.

Tonight’s Starting Five

One Hawk I know for a fact will not be resting is Dennis Schroder. With Jeff Teague injured Schroder is starting and dominating. He is having a great month of March with the extra playing time he has been seeing and is coming of a double-double 12 points 11 assists. The Hornets are middle of the pack in giving up fantasy points to the Point Guard slot. At 4100 Schroder is a must in every lineup.

Going to stay on the super value side at the Shooting Guard spot in Dion Waiters and his 3900 price tag. This is a terrible match up with the best defense since the all-star break in the Jazz but Waiters has been solid in his past five games. In that time frame he is averaging 16.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists. Tonight should be a low scoring night fantasy wise and Waiters only needs 20 points to hit value.

My Small Forward tonight is under priced on Draftster in Nikola Mirotic at 4500. I was afraid Taj Gibson would cut into Mirotic’s minutes upon his return but that simply has not happened yet. Fantastic match up against the Knicks tonight would could lead to a little more run for the rookie if the Bulls run away with this early. We all know what he has done this month with the extra playing time and if he sees close to 30 minutes tonight expect more of the same.

It looks like the injury to Derrick Favors is going to hold him out of tonight’s action which should lead to a start and extra minutes for Trevor Booker. Tough to predict what Booker will do if he gets extra playing time as he rarely sees over 20 minutes. The Jazz have no other big men after the trade of Enes Kanter and Booker will have to play a ton tonight. Great match up as the Thunder rank near the bottom in giving up fantasy points to the Power Forward slot. Not very many value plays tonight and I am willing to take a chance on a minimum priced player who should see 30 plus minutes.

I love revenge games and Enes Kanter and the Thunder travel to face his old team in the Jazz tonight. However I am not picking Kanter at my Center position and instead going to pick Rudy Gobert. Gobert is the reason the Jazz traded Kanter as he is too good not to play heavy minutes. Gobert is a double-double machine who can throw up some big games. With Favors more than likely out tonight Gobert will be the Jazz low post threat and should feast against Kanter. I am looking for a big game from the Frenchmen tonight.

Tonight’s Sixth Man

Russell Westbrook is always top dog when he plays and is tough to fade. Tonight based on his price and match up I am fading him. My go to player tonight as long as he plays is LaMarcus Aldridge going against the weak Denver front court. Aldridge has had finger issues that can act up at any time and leave you scrambling when he is a late scratch. I am willing to take the chance tonight as Portland needs to win to keep up in the West. I fully expect the 30 point 10 rebound Aldridge to show up tonight and will be riding him in all my line ups.

Here are my initial lineups for Saturday night:
