FanDuel NBA Lineup for Wednesday, March 11 | Moxyball’s best daily fantasy basketball plays, picks, tips, advice and strategy for tonight’s FanDuel NBA DFS action (3/11).

Tuesday night‘s roster came up short, thanks in large part to Manu Ginobili and a disappearing Reggie Jackson. We didn’t find out that Manu was going to be out of the lineup until after lineups locked for Tuesday night, which really hurt our chances.

However, there were a handful of very strong performances on our team that are worth highlighting. Norris Cole exploded with an expanded role, putting up 32 FanDuel points. Rudy Gobert was the #2 scorer at the centre position with 41.3 FDP (16 more than Nikola Vucevic who checked in at $1,000 more than Rudy). Andrea Bargnani, Wesley Johnson and Wayne Ellington contributed over 20 points apiece as well.

With Tuesday’s action wrapped up, let’s look ahead to tonight’s slate. It’s a busy one in the NBA, so we’ll likely take a crack at late or turbo lineups which increases our comfort level. Check back later for our final roster, which will be posted an hour or so before gametime at the latest.

Here’s a quick look at who we’re liking for tonight:

Moxyball FanDuel NBA Picks for Wednesday, March 11 Contests

Zach highlighted some of his key guys for Wednesday in his Victiv & Draftster writeup. Some of those names will appear for us on FanDuel as well tonight.

Marvin Williams, Nikola Mirotic, Khris Middleton, Kenneth Faried, T.J. Warren and Reggie Jackson are all names Zach mentioned for tonight’s action. Marvin, Mirotic, Middleton and Faried are high on our list today as well. Warren is a sneaky value play with considerable upside, but likely only an option for GPPs. Reggie makes for a nice sleeper tonight, coming off a terrible game that may scare some folks off today. Not a bad GPP dice-roll as well if you want to take a bit of risk there.

Russell Westbrook is a tricky play on FanDuel today, checking in at $13,300. I’ll have to go back and check the full season logs, but I believe this is the first time anyone has eclipsed the $13,000 salary mark on FanDuel in 2015. Quite a feat for the Thunder PG – but still hard to ignore at this price if he’ll continue averaging 70+ points per game (which he did last week). It’ll be tempting to fade him tonight at that price, but look back at his recent performance to see if it still makes sense to roll him out there. If you think he has a clear path to 60+ points, he’s probably still worth it… but I won’t blame you for looking elsewhere at the PG position.

Draymond Green continues to be a highly valuable SF play on FanDuel. He’s returned a 4.9 mark on the ROI level over his last 4 games, averaging just under 40 points in that span (39.2). His well-rounded game is an asset in DFS as it keeps his floor nice and high. Tonight the Warriors take on the Pistons at home in Golden State, which should be a matchup he’ll have no problem exploiting. Give him a look at just over $8,000.

I talked about Shaun Livingston a couple of days ago, and I’ll bring him back up again. He’s seeing minutes in the range of 25-27 on average right now, and has returned more than a point per minute over his last 4 with a 28.7 mark. He’s more of an asset at home (32 avg) vs on the road (17 avg) as measured by the last 9 games… and guess where he’s playing tonight? Not a bad PG2 option for both GPP and 50-50s if you need a lower-end PG to balance things out.

Isaiah Canaan is no longer the sub-$4,000 value play he was at the end of February, with his salary creeping up to $5,100 heading into Wednesday’s action. The truth is, this price increase is well-earned. With a 33.9 point average over the last 3 games, he’s clearly establishing himself as a valuable, comfortable member of Philly’s rotation. He’s seeing plenty of minutes right now (36/game last week) and should be a strong 6.0 ROI candidate against the Bulls at home today.

Love shopping in the bargain bin? Take a look at these guys under $4,000 on FanDuel tonight… We only recommend them for low-investment GPP lineups if you want to take a shot in the dark at hitting it big…

Austin Rivers | Averaging 24.4 points in his last 3 games.

Mike Scott | Over 20 points in each of his last 3 outings.

Jodie Meeks | Averaging 19.9 points in his last 4, scoring no less than 15.9 in that span.

Thomas Robinson | Consistently in double-digits, putting up 18.8 on average over his last 7. A strong PF2 punt.

T.J. Warren | Their coach has already stated they want to get him more minutes, and he’s coming off a 24 minute outing. Still plenty of growth to come for Warren, but if he hits a couple extra shots tonight, he may make you look like a genius for the $3,600 it’ll cost to roll him out. The biggest dice-roll of this bunch by far. I must reinforce – not someone we recommend for 50-50s today!

Check back later tonight for our lineup recommendation. We’ll have that posted at least an hour before tipoff.

Best of luck tonight!
