FanDuel NBA Lineup for February 10 | DFS FanDuel Tips, Strategy, Picks and Advice for Daily NBA Fantasy Basketball Feb 10, 2015 (2/10)

Feb 9th was a difficult one for our lineup. It’s awfully difficult to reach your projection when one of your biggest spends (Monta Ellis) happens to go down early on with an injury and miss their forecasted output by 30 points. Not only that, but when you take a gamble on a value play that doesn’t come through (Hollis Thompson), it doesn’t make things any easier.

Unfortunately, we can’t predict injuries – so all there is left to do is pick up our socks and look forward to the next day. Missing out on cashing in our 50-50s yesterday is going to happen from time to time, and we can’t blame our research and final lineup choices based on getting unlucky with an injury. Especially when Chris Paul and Kevin Durant both came through with huge games – not to mention Kenneth Faried and Giannis both having strong outings as well.

Tonight we are going to focus on building a great NBA FanDuel lineup to help compete and win in Feb 10th contests (all games).

Let’s dive into our FanDuel NBA lineup for Feb 10th!

Moxyball FanDuel NBA Plays for Feb 10th Contests

We always like to do our analysis before ultimately developing the lineup we feel is strongest as a group. Usually they will find their way into our final roster, but sometimes they won’t fit for one reason or another. If we mention a player below and he doesn’t end up on our squad, that doesn’t mean you should shy away from running him!

With that said, here are 4 players we like the looks of heading into tonight’s contests.

Robert Sacre, $4,000

Don’t look now, but the Canadian big man is actually playing pretty well these days as a low-end value option at center. At only $4,000, there is a lot to like about what he brings to the table. He’s received at least 20 minutes of action in each of his last 8 games, putting together an average of 20.5 points in that span. He plays better ball at home, and with the Lakers facing Denver tonight on home soil, he makes for a rock solid low-cost center to trot out there in your lineup. He’s a 5.0 ROI candidate.

Miles Plumlee, $3,700

Let’s stay at the center position for another minute and talk quickly about Miles Plumlee. With Alex Len going down to injury, he’s stepped up playing almost twice the number of minutes he was getting earlier on in the year. As with most players in fantasy basketball, the production has also followed suit. With 16.8 and 27.9 points in each of his last 2 games (24.5 minutes average) – he’s looking like a decent option if you need a very cheap center to roll out against Houston. We prefer Sacre by a hair because of a slightly higher floor, but there’s nothing wrong with Plumlee if you can’t find that extra $300.

Trevor Ariza, $5,500

He’s on quite a nice roll right now, with at least 30 points in 3 straight games – seeing plenty of time on the floor in that span. The Rockets take on Phoenix tonight, and we all know that means plenty of points will be scored. Ariza makes his living as a solid SF option behind the arc, where he will get a handful of opportunities to rack up points. Not only that, but the up-tempo style should lend itself to having Ariza get a couple steals and a decent chunk of rebounds as well. For the price, you can’t go wrong considering the 5.0+ ROI upside. He produced at a 6.3 ROI level last week.

D.J. Augustin, $7,200

I talked about him at length in my piece about fantasy basketball players that season-long owners needed to pick up right away. Now it’s time to give him some love on Feb 10th as a great PG option in DFS contests. With 33.4 and 35.9 FDP in his last 2 games and facing a very susceptible Charlotte point guard defense, he’s a quality option today. Detroit relies heavily on its guard play to set up Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond – as well as taking the ball to the hoop for easy buckets in transition. Augustin should have no trouble getting to the 30 point mark once again, with upside for 40+ like he’s done 3 times since January 25th.
