He’s a smokin’ hot designer, a digital maestro and a hugely engaging individual with masses of Italian élan!

Max’s 14-year international career spans work across digital and print for a diverse range of iconic clients in Italy, Australia and New Zealand. He’s joining us at the end of June after attending the gala ceremony of the prestigious international A’Design Awards which is being held in his native Italy on the shores of beautiful Lake Como. He’s there to receive an award for his compelling project BreakingTimein the Spatial Design and Communication category.

Career Highlights

Max started his career in Italy gaining experience with several international agencies Then he established his own agency BIEF in 2005 where he was Managing and Creative Director. In 2011 he decided to make a complete change in order to build his international profile and he decided to head Downunder spending time in Australia before deciding to settle in New Zealand.

Prior to joining Moxie he was Senior Designer then Creative Director of digital agency Kineao Pacific for more than four years. There he was responsible for idea generation, concept development and visualisation for Kineo agencies across NZ and Australia. During this time, he received Platimum and Gold LearnX Impact Awards for digital and online projects.

He loves working with teams to explore what should or could be as opposed to what is. His passion is bringing to life solutions based on different ways of looking that the world which make sense to people at a deep level and get the best results … whatever the channel or medium. This commitment to inspiring ideas and mentoring talented people is demonstrated through his continuing role as a design mentor for young aspiring leaders through Venture Up.

Max holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic and Virtual Design from the Polytechnic of Turin. His hobbies include product and spatial design, photography, volleyball, and walking and he makes a mean tiramisu!
