This is not a complete anime list for this year, but just some totally awesome anime suggestions for you!

Assassination Classroom TV (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu)
Genre: Action, Comedy, Supernatural
Synopsis: A humorous and action-packed story about a class of misfits who are trying to kill their new teacher – an alien octopus with bizarre powers and super strength! The teacher has just destroyed the moon and is threatening to destroy the earth, unless his students can destroy him first. What makes things more complicated is that he's the best teacher they've ever had!
Comments: This anime's concept is super cool for a school-themed anime! If you love action and comedy, I am sure you will love this too!
Kamisama Kiss 2 (Kamisama Hajimemashita 2)
Genre: Comedy, Fantasy, Romance, Supernatural
Synopsis: After the event's following the first season, Nanami is filled with new challenges as the Land God of the Shrine. She faces these challenges with her two familiars Tomoe and Mizuki. Along these challenges, Tomoe begins to realize his true feelings for Nanami.
Comments: If you love Japanese mythology, shoujo and especially master-servant type of anime, this is totally your kind of anime!
Kuroko's Basketball 3 (Kuroko no Basuke)
Genre: Comedy, Sports
Synopsis: Seirin High School makes it into the semi-finals of the Winter Cup. They defeated Touou Gakuen (featuring Aomine) and Yosen (featuring Murasakibara), both from the "Generation of Miracles," causing Seirin to be one of the more noticed schools. Kagami, nudged by Kuroko, heads outside of the tournament building in order to reconcile with Himuro, but sees a guy picking a fight with Himuro - so Alex steps in to help them. That guy is Shogo Haizaki of Fukuda Sogo Gakuen. He is a graduate of Teiko Junior High, and he was supposedly a regular player in the first-string team before Kise joined...
Comments: This is one of the most popular and loved Shonen anime today! Those who love basketball should totally check this out!
Durarara!!x2 Shou (Winter) & Durarara!!x2 Ten (Summer)
Genre: Action, Comedy, Supernatural
Synopsis for Durarara!!x2 Shou: Half a year after the turmoil that rocked the entire city of Ikebukuro— Peace has once again returned to the city and people are all living each day normally. The high school students enjoy their days of youth as the strongest and most dangerous man of Ikebukuro works diligently. The informant plots a new scheme and the headless rider is pursued by the cops as she rides through the night… But soon this normal will be cut short by the abnormal. Slowly but surely, the unknown will seize the city and face an all new storm.
Synopsis for Durarara!!x2 Ten: Ikebukuro, a city teeming with the most peculiar characters and the twisted schemes they indulge in. In the aftermath of the assault against the information broker, signs of new disorder begin to develop like ripples across the water. Holding his own ideals, the young man who gains the powers of both the “Dollars” and the “Blue Squares” treads the path to total annihilation. Someone struggles to save their best friend while a psychopath creeps up on a popular idol. Slowly but surely a new threat gains power within the city’s shadows…
Comments: Dullahan in a Japanese city? Mysterious Internet gangs? There are so many main characters in this anime and they are all really interesting! Since there is a large following for this anime, the creators have decided to release two seasons this year!

The Heroic Legend of Arslan (Arslan Senki)
Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy
Synopsis: In the prosperous kingdom of Pars lies the Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a city of splendor and wonder, ruled by the undefeated and fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan is the young and curious prince of Pars who, despite his best efforts, doesn't seem to have what it takes to be a proper king like his father. At the age of 14, Arslan goes to his first battle and loses everything as the blood-soaked mist of war gives way to scorching flames, bringing him to face the demise of his once glorious kingdom. However, it is Arslan's destiny to be a ruler, and despite the trials that face him, he must now embark on a journey to reclaim his fallen kingdom.
Comments: This anime is from none other than the creators of the popular Fullmetal Alchemist! If you love medieval war and politics, it is quite likely that you will love and enjoy watching this!
Seraph of the End (Owari no Seraph)
Genre: Action, Fantasy, Drama, Supernatural
Synopsis: After a catastrophic epidemic kills every adult on earth, vampires arise from the shadows to enslave the remaining human population. Yuichiro and his friends are kept as vampire fodder in a creepy underground city. Yuichiro dreams of one day fighting back, and the first step is staging a daring escape from their vampire overlords...
Comments: This new post-apocalyptic shounen anime has high potential; I heard so many awesome things about this anime! It can be dark and violent, but who doesn't love vampires and demons?!
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO! (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Kome wa Machigatteiru. Zoku.)
Genre: Comedy, Romance
Synopsis: Hikigaya Hachiman, with his unique thought processes, seemed to be glorifying the life of a loner when his guidance counselor, Hiratsuka Shizuka, talked him into joining the Service Club. Together with the other members, the breathtaking, flawless Yukinoshita Yukino and the cute, popular Yuigahama Yui, he spent his days solving all kinds of problems for his classmates, from relationship worries to running the cultural festival committee. The seasons have given way to fall, and now Hachiman, Yukino, and Yui are preparing for a field trip to Kyoto. What request has been brought to the Service Club this time?
Comments: Shortened as Oregairu, this romantic 'slice of life' anime is so funny to watch! Probably one of the best recent rom-com anime that also lets you learn something invaluable about life!
Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works TV 2
Genre: Action, Fantasy, Magic, Supernatural
Synopsis: The highly anticipated second half of the famed visual novel-based anime, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works continues where the plot left off in the first half of the series, focusing on a group of masters fighting to obtain the holy grail with the help of their mystical servants, heroic spirits with great power from the ages past.
Comments: There are many reasons why this title was a popular shounen visual novel before it is made into an anime... it's all due to the interesting concept and addictive storyline!
Gintama (2015)
Genre: Comedy, Sci-Fi
Synopsis: Gintama is back and better than ever! Featuring aliens, time clocks, and the fondling of breasts! Gintama is an anime based around humor and references, It shall blow your mind with questions of how it has not gotten copyright strikes! Now prepare for the 4th wall to be broken, and to cry your eyes out in laughter at the not-so-organised story of a Silver Haired Samurai and his incredible life in the city of Edo!
Comments: Old is gold? This anime series is not new but they are back with a brand new season! If you haven't seen this, maybe you should give it a try to understand why so many loved it?
High School DxD BorN
Genre: Action, Fantasy
Synopsis: The babes and boys of the Occult Research Club are Back! Lovable loser (and bust buff) Issei and his clan of bewitching beauties return for a new season of supernatural tussles and sexy shenanigans—featuring old friends and new enemies! Now that all the girls live in Issei's home, life seems like nothing but fun and scantily-clad lounging…for now! Join Rias, Akeno, Koneko, Asia, Xenovia, Gasper, and everyone's favorite Harem King Issei as they fight, fumble, and fondle their way through their demonic high school lives.
Comments: If you are into harem, action and fantasy, this anime could be exactly what you want to watch this year!
Selected Anime From Summer 2015
Gate: Jieitai Kano Chi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri
Genre: Adventure, Fantasy
Synopsis: On August 20XX, a gate suddenly appears in Tokyo's Ginza district, unleashing a portal where monsters, medieval knights and other fantasy beings come from another world and wreak havoc on Tokyo. The Japanese Defense Force take action against these monsters and push them back into the "Gate". Third Reconnaissance Team is dispatched to the "Special Region" lead by officer (and otaku) Youji Itami.
Comments: Medieval people, mystical creatures, magic and modern military forces - how much more interesting can this anime get? Definitely a must-watch, especially for those with unique interests!
God Eater
Genre: Action, Fantasy, Supernatural
Synopsis: Set in a post-apocalyptic Japan in the year 2071. The world has been mostly destroyed by mysterious monsters known as the Aragami. An organization known as Fenrir was made to exterminate Aragami using 'God Arcs', weapons made from Aragami cells. Those who specialize in exterminating Aragami are known as God Eaters. Their God Arcs originally could only keep a single form, however a new type has been discovered that can switch between gun and blade form. Since then, they have been classified new-types and the previous as old-types.
Comments: This is an adaptation of a popular PSV game. From what I've read about this anime, it seems to be really interesting!
Shimoneta: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist (Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai)
Genre: Comedy
Synopsis: It's 16 years after the "Law for Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising" banned coarse language in the country. Tanukichi Okuma enrolls in the country's leading elite public morals school and is soon invited into the Anti-Societal Organization (SOX) by its founder, Ayame Kajō. As a member blackmailed into joining by Ayame, Tanukichi ends up taking part in obscene acts of terrorism against the talented student council president and his crush Anna.
Comments: My first impression was all about the super long title, but I have since seen some previews of this anime (also known as Shimoseka) ... it looks super hilarious!
RPG Overlord
Genre: Action, Adventure
Synopsis: The story begins with Yggdrasil, a popular online game which is quietly shut down one day. However, the protagonist Momonga decides to not log out. Momonga is then transformed into the image of a skeleton as "the most powerful wizard." The world continues to change, with non-player characters (NPCs) begining to feel emotion. Having no parents, friends, or place in society, this ordinary young man Momonga then strives to takeover the new world the game has become.
Comments: This anime looks super cool. If you love MMORPG, I'm quite certain that you will find this anime interesting!
Dragon Ball Super
Genre: Adventure, Martial arts, Science fantasy
Synopsis: After defeating Majin Buu, life is peaceful once again. Ordered by Chi-chi to earn money, Goku works even as he wants to train even more. Meanwhile, Goten, about to become a brother-in-law to Videl, sets out on a journey with Trunks to find her a present..
Comments: This is obviously a must-watch for shounen fans. Fans of Dragon Ball should not miss this, as the show returns with a new storyline!
Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers (Rokka no Yuusha)
Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Mystery
Synopsis: Legend says, when the Evil God awakens from the deepest of darkness, the god of fate will summon Six Braves and grant them with the power to save the world. Adlet, who claims to be the strongest on the face of this earth, is chosen as one of the “Brave Six Flowers,” and sets out on a battle to prevent the resurrection of the Evil God. However, it turns out that there are Seven Braves who gathered at the promised land...
Comments: One of the most raved anime this year, this anime look gorgeous and also seems to have a great concept!
Charlotte
Genre: Drama, Fantasy, Supernatural
Synopsis: Very few adolescent boys and girls have an onset of special abilities. Yuu Otosaka is one such man who uses his ability unbeknownst to others in order to lead a satisfying school life. Then one day, a girl named Nao Tomori suddenly appears before him. Their encounter reveals the destiny for wielders of special abilities.
Comments: Looking for anime about school life with fantasy in it? Look no further, this might be it. I wonder what kind of special abilities they have!
To-Love Ru Darkness 2nd
Genre: Romantic comedy, Science fiction
Synopsis: New season of To LOVE-Ru Darkness.
Comments: If you loved the first season, you will love this one for sure. If you have not seen this but love ecchi, harem and supernatural, you might want to check this out!
GANGSTA.
Genre: Action, Drama, Crime
Synopsis: In the city of Ergastulum, a shady ville filled with made men and petty thieves, whores on the make and cops on the take, there are some deeds too dirty for even its jaded inhabitants to touch. Enter the "Handymen," Nic and Worick, who take care of the jobs no one else will handle. Until the day when a cop they know on the force requests their help in taking down a new gang muscling in on the territory of a top Mafia family. It seems like business (and mayhem) as usual, but the Handymen are about to find that this job is a lot more than they bargained for.
Comments: This anime looks fantastic. Many anime fans have seen and commented that GANGSTA. is one of the best anime of the season!
Gatchaman Crowds Insight
Genre: Action, Science Fiction, Superhero
Synopsis: Now a year after the so-called Tachikawa Incident in the summer of 2015, the CROWDS ability (a gift from Berg Katze to Ninomiya Rui, the ability to give the human mind shape and form) is widespread among the masses. The use of the ability is acknowledged and promoted by the Japanese Prime Minister himself, but he faces mounting frustration and suspicion from those who bear ill will against the CROWDS. One day, the prime minister's flight is attacked by a mysterious group. The time has come for the winged warriors to stride into battle once more...
Comments: This is the anime's second season. We heard that it is good and it has decent ratings from the viewers. If you are into action and sci-fi, you might love this anime!
