Marvel has just released Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer just recently. In the trailer, fans will finally get to see Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the MCU elaborately.

However, his chemistry with one other character will fascinate fans even more. Marvel veteran Robert Downey Jr. is also a part of the movie where he will be playing a mentor to the young hero.

The trailer has already revealed some scenes of Tom and Robert. They perfectly highlight their equation in the movie.

Keeping this in mind, here is why Robert and Tom’s chemistry in the movie works.

Mentor-Student Equation

There will be lots of moments in the movie where Tony will be seen stepping up his game as a mentor. By doing this, he will really contribute in a meaningful way.

Post the events of Captain America: Civil War, nurturing new talent is what seems to be in Tony’s mind.

Staying True to Original Self

Even though Tony will be doing a really noble job in Spider-Man: Homecoming, there is one thing he has managed to retain, his personality.

Fans can still notice the usual Tony Stark from Iron Man, hidden somewhere behind the now mature personality that Tony is putting up.

Different Age Group

This is probably one of the reasons why their chemistry works. Peter is far younger than Tony, which means the latter gets an opportunity to share his experience and knowledge with him.

As far as Peter is concerned, he gets to learn and grasp a lot from a veteran like Tony, which undoubtedly will help him further in the MCU.

Trailer Launched

Meanwhile, Vox reported that Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer was released recently and it shows Peter Parker’s struggle between being a high school student and a superhero.

Michael Keaton is playing the main antagonist in the movie known as Vulture who threatens to kill everyone Peter loves. Going by the visuals, the movie will explore the web slinger’s life further.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will release next year on July 7.
