In 2005, Capcom released “Resident Evil 4,” and it quickly became a classic in the horror game franchise. It followed the journey of US special agent Leon Kennedy. His mission was to save Ashley Graham, the fictional US President’s daughter. In the duration of his mission, Kennedy fights a heard of violent and mutated monster. He also reunites with Ada Wong.

The gameplay, at that time, was truly innovative, especially for the franchise. There were third-person shooting capabilities and aiming precision. There was also a multitude of different weaponry to choose from, and players could choose to upgrade the same.

In addition, players defended themselves against a group of new and exciting enemies. Called the Ganados, players could aim their shots at different angles and places. Of course, the options each arrived at different results.

Fortunately, Capcom-Unity has confirmed the release of “Resident Evil 4” for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will be available starting August 30. The blog entry praises the launching for modern consoles, calling it the “perfect opportunity.” That is, for fans to remember why the game was so iconic that it stays popular even more than a decade after its release. Likewise, that newer players can “learn where all the accolades come from.”

The “Resident Evil 4” relaunch will include all bonus content from the original game. Fortunately, it will also include additional features there were added in later versions.

Ada Wong will have her own side story, which Capcom says will fill in the gaps left by Leon’s one-sided perspective. Players will also be given the opportunity to equip Ashley Graham with a knight armor costume. This will not only let players focus solely on Leon, but it will be fun to watch enemies try to harm Ashley.

Mercenaries Mode from “Resident Evil 3” will also be available. However, this is only for players who have completed the entire mission. This mode allows gamers to play as Wesker, Hunk, and other such iconic “Resident Evil” characters.

“Resident Evil 4” will become available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 30.
