Emman Swan (Jennifer Morrison) and Killian Jones (Colin O’Donoghue) have endured a number of challenges and, each time, their relationship has emerged stronger than ever. Fans have long waited for the couple to finally tie the knot but will it happen in Once Upon A Time Season 6? Show creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis talk about what fate is waiting for the Savior of Storybrooke and her Captain Hook.
A Marriage Proposal?
Fans got excite when the midseason trailer for Once Upon A Time Season 6 previewed what looks like an engagement ring. Some were quick to speculate that it will end up on Emma’s finger this season. While they refused to reveal whether an engagement is on the cards for Emma and Killian, they did tease that the upcoming episodes will feature the “most romantic moment between those two in the six seasons of the show.” Could this mean that Killian will finally pop the question?
“At the end of the fall run of episodes, we teased that there was a ring,” teased Horowitz in an interview with ET. His show co-creator added, “[s]o somebody’s going to get it.”
To recall, rumors of an Emma Swan – Killian Jones wedding has been around since last year when the two professed their true feelings for each other in front of a wedding dress display. Some took this as a sign that a big wedding might happen in Storybrooke soon. However, this might not happen in Once Upon A Time Season 6.
Kitsis also pointed out that the ring might be for someone else. He said, “to be fair, Henry did just take Violet to the dance, so we don’t know.”
Once Upon A Time Season 6 Episode 11 Air Date and Synopsis
After a long break, Once Upon A Time Season 6 returns to television. Titled Tougher Than The Rest, the next episode will follow Emma and Regina (Lana Parilla) in the Dream Realm. Meanwhile, back home, David (Josh Dallas) and Killian find a way to stop Gideon (Giles Matthey) from confronting and eventually killing Emma. Sean Maguire also returns as Robin Hood. “With Snow still asleep in Storybrooke, David and Hook race to stop Gideon before he can confront Emma.
